- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
- $30 for a half hour lesson - $45 for a forty-five minute lesson - $60 for an hour lesson * lessons take place once a week - Lessons are to be paid for monthly at the beginning of each month. If a lesson is missed, you will receive a lesson credit. The lesson will be made up by having two lessons in one week, doubling the standard lesson length, or splitting the missed time across multiple lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- discussion of student's experience and goals - I will recommend applicable method books or general repertoire/pieces to work through depending on experience level - there is an early emphasis on developing the skill of tuning the instrument, proper posture, and technique - lessons generally proceed with the goal of performance in mind
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a classically trained musician with a Doctor of Music degree in String Performance from the Florida State University.
