My experience working with Nando has been nothing but great! I remember first hearing about him thru an ad at guitar center and from the moment we spoke on the phone we clicked. He had a mature personality and was very professional. I explained the direction I was trying to go in with my playing and how I wished to developing better technique and he knew just how to whip me into shape. He explained guitar theory in a manner I had never been taught and that was an eye opener. He broke down the the essentials like the circle of fifths, modes, scale runs in 3 octaves up and down the neck, and the importance of diatonic harmony in accordance to chord changes in any key in any scale in such a comprehensive and intuitive manner that I felt I had been empowered with the knowledge I had been lacking to unlock my true potential with the instrument. Nando's teachings and professional attitude have allowed me to grow as a guitarist and gain greater insight into the styles and techniques which make the great guitar players of the world who they are. Nando has also taught me how to become disciplined with the instrument thru rigorous practice and to challenge myself to lengths I had never achieved. Nado's lessons are tailored to your skill level and are designed to get your fingers flying up and down the neck in ways you only dreamed.

Along with his extensive work with the Kay Gee's, Fernando has toured with numerous groups that enabled him to cover the essentials of Latin Funk, Latin Rock, Latins Jazz, Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Funk,Soul, Rhythm and Blues and Funk Rock. Because of his deep love of family, and pleasant personality I can think of no other musician that I would recommend to be trusted with young junior guitarist,....or...... patient enough to teach those of us that have decided to be guitarists in our later years, and also talented enough to bring the best out of the experienced axeman that wants to tighten those killer riffs or learn improvisation to create mellow jazz runs.

My son wanted to learn how to play the guitar a few years ago, and we went to Nando. He was incredible. He had incredible patience, and a great way to encourage rather than demand progress from my son. Though my son eventually went to wood wind instruments, the musical basics he learned from Nando where invaluable.
