William Brand is a fantastic instructor whose talent for dance is dwarfed only by his passion for it. William has taught me more than just dance steps; he has taught me confidence, poise, grace, and so much more. And after three years of dancing with him he still has so much to offer! A. H.

Tarifa was such a pleasure to work with. We needed a choreograph bachata danced for our wedding first dance and we only had a week to learn it. She accommodated us very quickly and she did an amazing job. She is very patient, easy to work with, friendly, and very fun. On our last session, she gave us a wedding present, which was so nice and thoughtful of her. I can't wait to show off our dance to our guests in 8 days. Thank you so much Tarifa for everything. Would definitely recommend Tarifa and would love to take any classes you may have in the future.

Julie is very involved with me in my sessions. I've learned multiple techniques with my voice in just a few lessons. She's passionate about her students and builds a strong relationship that enables comfortability and a relaxed environment so she can challenge her students with ease. And i have more fun learning with her then I have with other vocal coaches! One could definitely see thaf this is her strength.

Hands down the best dance instruction I have ever received. I have taken lessons up and down the East Coast at numerous dance studios and salsa congresses and nobody has ever broken down the fine details and nuances of dance the way the instructors at Dance Salsa Jax do. Ally Knight, who is also the director, is the greatest instructor I have ever learned from. Her detailed explanation of every movement helps any dancer from their very first lesson to experienced and advanced dancers. The staff at Dance Salsa Jax are as friendly and polite as they are talented. They are not only exceptional dancers but they are amazing relatable instructors. On top of that, after only a short period of time you will wind up becoming personal friends with them. The wonderful people of Dance Salsa Jax are always out dancing around town and they also schedule different outings from time to time unrelated to dance to simply have fun and socialize with their students / friends. Make sure you check out their monthly Latin Addiction party at their Edgewood location. It's always a great time and if you get there early enough they give a free lesson which is included with the admission to the party. It is a great way to get a feel for the instruction you will be receiving and the people you will be getting to know. They not only taught me how to dance but they taught me how to love dancing.

I am nationally certified to teach beginners to advanced students who are looking to improve their body communication. I'm happy to assist wedding couples who are seeking to enjoy their first dance as husband and wife.

I strive to provide a holistic-natural-classical education in dance that is well rounded and suited for each invidual body.

While teaching my piano and voice students, I also prepare them for performance.I make arrangements for them to put little programs together to take to nursing homes and assisted living centers. It is good for them and for the people attending.

I am very efficient in my dance lessons as well as I show up on time. I'm concerned about my students and love what I Do. I also understand that not everyone is looking to become a competitor and most the time we're just looking to be comfortable confident social dancers. I want everyone to look their best on the dance floor.

We teach ballroom, Latin and rhythm. Incorporated for over 100 years, we teach social and competitive dancing.

Suzanne Saltmarsh's interest in choreography began as a very young child, when she and her neighbor would put on shows at a park in front of the homes in San Marco neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida. This interest continues to grow throughout her ballet education in high school and then was solidified with her exposure to contemporary dance at Florida State University. The Saltmarsh began quite laughing for eight days of dance while in college at FSU and performed her own choreography while attending Martha Graham School in New York City. While at Dallas Black Dance Theater, her professional responsibilities often included choreography. Ever since the Saltmarsh formed Saltmarsh Dance in San Francisco California in 1999, choreography has been a daily endeavor. Ms. Saltmarsh's choreography history spans from 1979 to 2014, creating 83 works, 39 large group Ballets, 3 Trios, 6 pas de duet/duets, and 35 solos. Saltmarsh believes that dance can transcend religion, education, culture and economic backgrounds. Dance is a universal language and designed help illuminate and inspire the mind and heart. Educated dancers become vital roles in society, not only within the art as a profession, but also as disciplined contributors on all levels to society.
