Gene has been a God send for me. He doesn't know this but I lost my husband last year and these guitar lessons are my therapy. I feel like he guides me to reach my husband through music and emotion. Guitar is my passion now. Gene has been my music teacher angel. He is simply amazing as a teacher and person.

I am a senior citizen that took guitar lessons at Remi Music Center for 7 months, 2 hours per week. I had a great experience learning to play this musical instrument. The cost per hour was reasonable and the available time was according to my schedule. I learned to read and play music in a short period of time. Mr Raymond Lasten professionalism and techniques helped me achieve one of my dreams…play the guitar.

My 5-year old son attended The Music Garden and received wonderful, holistic and developmentally appropriate music lessons. Not only did he learn piano basics, but Ms. Joni provided him opportunities to explore other instruments that introduced him to various musical textures, rhythms and sounds. The exercises and assignments were interesting and joyful. A very positive experience overall - highly recommended!

Jesse is a very talented music instructor. My son takes guitar lessons from him and loves going to lessons each week. Jesse makes each lesson unique and has taught him so much knowledge not only about guitar but different genres of music. I highly recommend.

I thought learning guitar was going to be hard but the way Stewart taught made it an easy and fun experience. I would highly recommend him for anybody wanting to learn how to play guitar. At the end of the first lessons I was able to play my first song, Sweet Home Alabama!!

Hey, everyone! I'm happy to see everyone interested in wanting to discover how to play guitar. I'm ready to help you get to the next level and get you playing along with all your favorite songs.

About

I've been teaching beginner and intermediate guitar for a decade and have always had very satisfied students. I am a teacher at heart, and I tailor my teaching plan to each student's individual needs and style. My background is not in formal classical training but in a self-taught, experience-driven learning style that I have used mostly in contemporary church settings (playing the acoustic guitar). I teach the fundamentals of playing the guitar along with enough music theory (scales, key signatures and transposition) to help students thrive as competent musicians and continue to learn long after they learn from me. My goal is to help my students derive the most enjoyment out of learning the instrument as well as achieve their unique goals, such as performance, personal expression (songwriting), or service in a community or church band. I work with all ages, and satisfaction is guaranteed.
