My father ran into Dan at a carnival he was very impressed with his set up. And hired him for my wedding . He made everything so easy . Also has a very helpful convienant website with a gig builder on it for everything you need for your event. Also the time line made the wedding so perfect for all the vendors . For anything I couldn't decide what I wanted for certain pieces of the wedding he found music I absolutely loved . I was so pleased how it all turned out, as the wedding grew closer I did not have a wedding event planner I was worried about keeping track of everything that was going on with the wedding that's when Dan suggested his wife crystal be a day planner to keep everything on track , which she has done before . She did a phenomenal job . Everything ran so smooth and everything went perfect . For the amount of money charged we felt we got such a good deal . The day of the wedding was perfect between the two of them everything was on time all the evened went flawlessly and turned out to be a beautiful day . Thank you so much Dan and crystal me and Ryan couldn't have done with without you . I would highly recommend everyone who has a upcoming wedding ;)

Kimber has to be the best makeup/hair artist in Jacksonville! I could not have asked for anyone better. I hired her for my wedding makeup and hair (me plus four bridesmaids). She has amazing insight and can deliver a look flawlessly. I'm addicted to false eyelashes now - they really gave me the dramatic eye I wanted. Kimber uses great quality makeup and is really efficient timewise. She had all 5 of us looking amazing in about 4.5 hours (hair and makeup) and she was working by herself. Having her around, too, felt like it was your best friend or sister there (which helped calm my nerves on the big day) ... had I met her earlier I would have tried to get her as the wedding coordinator, too! There isn't a thing I would change about the work she provided.

Excellence, professional, sweet, warm and kind are a few words to describe Chimere. Chimere was my wedding planner and did an amazing job with everything. She put and kept my mind at ease throughout the entire process, and most importantly on the day of. In the beginning, I thought myself and family would be able make everything happen, but to tell you the truth, I am not sure what we would have done without Chimere's direction. She helped with delegating most things, but what was most important to me was her ability to keep me cool, calm, excited, and happy. I am very bossy at times, and manage many things, but with Chimere I felt comfortable with letting go and thus allowing her to take the lead. I trusted her direction and expertise, and in doing so it definitely paid off in the end. We had a beautiful wedding. Thanks Chimere! ;-)

If I could give Ali 10 stars, I would. We had a small wedding of 40. Ali was extremely organized the minute she walked in the door. Besides taking care of the wine and beer we served, she also helped with the cake cutting and just overall clean up during the wedding. Ali helped make my daughter's small wedding feel like the event we hoped it would be. I can't thank her enough for all her help and will book her again when the opportunities arise.

We used Patrick as our official photographer for our wedding back in December '14! When we first met up with Patrick, we saw all the wonderful work that he's done from previous weddings, and he goes above and beyond to see to it that his work is nothing but perfect! He thinks of the little things and gave good suggestions to make our special day a memorable one!     The ceremony was if she had known us all our lives. And we only spoke once on the phone and then before the wedding. The special things she did such as the sand ceremony were something different that our guests had never seen before. We had a DJ, but really all he could do was play the music, so Mentora stepped in and MC the reception. It was priceless, she had the microphone in front of such a variety of guests from children to my Grandmother, whom I never would have expected to speak. This was priceless and afterwards all my guests said they felt so much a part of our wedding. By the way, my minister canceled at the last minute , and they stepped in for no extra charge. If I had known I would have chosen Yes I will Marry u from the beginning. A true professional who handled everything and everyone flawlessly. I have the cutest picture, she had a one year old sleeping in her arms at the end of the evening. All of my workmates say this is who will marry them. The ceremony was 250, the MC was 500, and the sand ceremony they threw in for free. But she had married my workmate at our office downtown Jax, and it was 149 on a Monday. But it was the best money I spent on our wedding because she made it magical.

Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner.       How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

      A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding.       What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

      When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

      • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
      • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
      • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
      • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

      Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

      Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

      • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
      • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
      • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
      • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.   
      • Checking floor plans, lighting levels, cake placement, menus, favors and more.
      • Collecting the wedding gifts and keeping personal items safe and accounted for.
