- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Boutique Events, my wedding planning company, became my passion after having spent over 20 years in the event industry. I started out in catering and then eventually added party rentals and then event production. After 20 years I decided to follow my passion and open my own event company specializing in wedding celebrations.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Boutique Events provides wedding planning services to our clients. We work with each client to select the perfect venue, cuisine, invitations, entertainment, photographers, videographers, hotels accommodations and every other detail that is need in creating the perfect day.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Wedding planning is a profession. You should look for a wedding planner who has years of experience, ask them questions about all parts of your wedding day and see if you are on the same page. They need to be organized, they need to be able to manage the event and they need to be calm so that they can keep you calm during one of the most stressful days of your life. You also need to feel a connection when you meet, you will be spending a lot of time with this person and you want to enjoy it.
