Great teacher that shows concern of how well you'll do on the test that you're taking or class. She concentrates on what you need improving and how you spend your time if you're on a limit. I took the SAT today and what she taught me made the test so much easier and I glided through it. Strongly recommended

Susan Werb was one of the most influential teachers I have ever had the pleasure of having. She taught me in my 10th grade year of high school and coached me on life success skills as well as SAT/ACT preparation. Prior to her coaching, my score was average and unimpressive. After a few weeks of work with Mrs. Werb, my test scores increased exponentially, which really gave me a leg up in the college admissions process. Many test prep teachers simply drill you with boring and repetitive tasks, but Mrs. Werb gives you tips and tricks to make the most of what you do and even what you do not know in order to get the highest scores possible. Beyond test preparation, she also was incredibly helpful in the scholarship search process which made college a possibility for me. I wouldn't have been able to attend my dream (or as she calls it, "reach") school without her help!

My experience with Louise was wonderful. My daughter needed help with raising her score for the NEW SAT. She took her in and helped her within a week before the test, gave her the time and patience to get her through the studies AND SHE RAISED HER SCORE !!! I am grateful to have found her through this site. She has passion for teaching. She teaches them skills and learning techniques that they can take with them through life. I will definitely use her again, if needed. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Kristin helped my HS son with honors geometry and it really made a difference right away. After only 2 sessions, he scored 101 on a test! (Yes, there was extra credit.) She went out of her way to locate the textbook he uses, she's very accommodating to our schedule, and she's a lovely person. We would highly recommend her.

We have had three sessions together, I like her daily tips for Math success, and I am feeling more confident. She takes time to work with me on all aspects of my Algebra 2 Honors classwork and is preparing me for my next test. Wen I get the results from my latest classwork and test results, I should show improvement. Ms Gintz is right on target! Sincerely, Alecsander Campbell

Inspiring, enlightening, engaging...excellent! "Ms Calder is the best teacher you could ever have," is what my thirteen year old son says when prompted to say something to his peers about his teacher. "If you have any question about language arts literature or history she can answer them." When you ask me how I feel about Ms Calder, I say that my child is receiving a world class education in her midst. As a child, I was at the top of my class in primary, secondary, and in undergrad. My child is learning more, as a young teen, than I learned in my first years at the university! After one short year with Ms Calder, he is understanding how the world works; and he attracts adults into conversation, engaging and impressing them. He has had a great experience, being her student. Ms. Calder has an innate ability to connect with all of her students and make them highly successful. A young, vibrant mother of four beautiful children, and a highly effective teacher for many years; she embraces each and every one of her students in her classroom as if they were her own. She was very patient with my son, from the start, and read into learning styles and issues. He is understanding concepts much better. He looks forward to going back to school, every day. She has taught students with many different learning styles, too. As a public school teacher, she has overcome many obstacles relating to having inspired children with little appeal for school; and she has brought out the best in the formally gifted children and high achieving. She breaks her teaching into understandable language, yet challenges her students to learn things their parents never imagined they could, at such a young age. She asks intelligent questions to make sure her students "get it." And from what we can tell, her students exceed the averages on standardized tests like end of course exams, and assessments. She had great lesson plans for her students she doesn't just make her students "do the work." She asks questions to make sure that her students understand all of the information that is being presented. She makes sure that you walk away with a great understanding of what is being presented. This is testament to the results her students attain top results in testing situations. I highly recommend Ms. Calder for any profession involving language, writing, and getting the best out of people. I will certainly use her services when my children apply for scholarships and college. -Kathy Diaz, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

31!!! Our daughter had a 26 on her ACT before she was tutored by Ginny. Due to the individualized plan and test-taking advice from Ginny, our daughter moved up to a 29, and then a 31. We loved the thorough and detailed analysis Ginny provided on the learning style and potential of our daughter. She really ushered us through the entire ACT ordeal, even up to the day of the test. Also Ginny taught our daughter how to work smarter, not harder, about preparations and execution. She definitely books up quickly so my advice is to call her as soon as you know your child is ready for tutoring.

She is very helpful with figuring out what your weaknesses are. She takes the time to get to know you. I like how she is able to figure out ways to help me increase my scores. She has been tutoring me to improve my ACT scores and not only have I improved with my scores but also on English tests at school. Before Madeline I struggled with English but lately I have been doing very well on my tests and I thank her for helping me. She also taught me which reading sections I need to start with because I understand the readings better. I am very thankful to have her as my tutor. I hope other kids get the great opportunity to have her as their tutor as well.

About

12785 West Forest Hill Blvd «Suite 8E - Wellington, Florida 33414 Located in the Wellington Plaza April 27, 2011 To Whom It May Concern: It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of acknowledgement and recommendation for David Anafi:---"'--~ - - - --.- .- . -- -- - '-. - David has worked with us seasonally on a part time (and often close to full time!) basis since February of 2008 in the capacity of upper level math and science tutor. In this capacity he assists our students in understanding and completing their assignments in subjects such as calculus, statistics, astronomy, physics, and economics. As our relationship has grown, David has become our "go to" man for all advanced level math and science classes, freeing up our full time staff in a way that was not possible before his hiring. At face value, David is a brilliant and extraordinarily knowledgeable asset. But there is more. David has a genuine love of educating young minds. He is at his best when coaching a student who is having difficulty with an advanced concept. David has the ability to connect with his students and the capability to deliver information in as many different ways as necessary until the concept is grasped and assimilated. His use of the Socratic method to engage his students and inspire critical thinking is brilliant to observe. I have nothing but positive comments regarding David and would recommend him without hesitation for any position involved in the education of young minds. He went above and beyond to help me. David explained lesson concepts and worked through actual problems so that I would have a full understanding of the subject as opposed to just memorizing steps. David worked extensively to help me raise my grade in this class. Due to David’s assistance I both passed the class and the exam. I scored a 4 on the AP test and will be able to use that credit towards college. I would highly recommend David as a tutor for anyone struggling in academics who needs a patient and dedicated tutor to help them succeed. Shoshana Davidson (Drefoos School of the Arts) To Whom It May Concern, I enthusiastically recommend David Anafi as a tutor. David is highly educated and knowledgeable in many subjects. I am a speech language pathologist in an elementary school and David came highly recommended to me, as well, by a peer teacher at my school. David has tutored my thirteen year old son in Algebra and now in Geometry for the past year. (August 2010- present) My son has excelled since David began to tutor him. He teaches my son in such a way that he understands and is able to then apply the knowledge in the classroom. David is soft spoken and always patient with my son. He is also organized, methodical, as well as punctual and reliable. Please feel free to contact me should you desire a verbal recommendation at 561-793-9993. Sincerely, Nancy Conley July 13, 2011 When I was taking very difficult courses in high school is was extremely tough. I struggled at first as a sophomore, but over the past two years, David has helped me not only pass, but excel in physics B, Physics C, and even passing Calculus 2 and 3. David knows how to clearly explain tough subjects better than any teacher and no one is more knowledgeable about these subjects then him. Nick Gomez (senior at Suncoast High School) -- Coastieboy
