I met Luis about 4 years ago at a wine bar in Winter Garden My whole group fell in love with his voice. He sang every song amazing and gives off such great energy. Since that night I met him I have hired him for my Kids Birthday parties and my Birthday party. Everyone that attended our parties raves about him and they always get his card and say next time they have a party they are hiring him. My friend hired him for her restaurant. He definitely has a following if you are a bar owner and want live music he's the guy. Before you know it the place will pick up because of him playing. Thank you Luis for making all my parties memorable because of your voice!!!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with Brian’s performance during our wedding ceremony. From the beginning of the planning process, Brian was incredibly easy to work with. We met to go over music for the ceremony and he was very open to my ideas. He found a way to take the vision I had for the ceremony music and make it a reality. On the day of the wedding, he was on time and all set up to play when he needed to be. The music was truly beautiful and set the tone for the entire ceremony. We couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out!   Angela and Fernando Bakidis

I had a one-time lesson with Michelle the day before a performance with a band. I don't have much of a music background, but Michelle was able to explain things clearly with a little bit of music theory which I appreciated. She was able to help me transpose two songs to a different key. The performance went well, and I wouldn't have been able to do as well without her help. She was super flexible with me as she had never had a request like this before. I highly recommend her.

Jeff Adkins was my sons guitar tutor for 4 years. He is a great teacher with a deep commitment for his students. Jeff is steadfast in teaching strong techniques combined with encouraging his kids to be creative and create their own music. Because of Jeff's instruction my son achieved a place in the middle school jazz band as lead guitarist. I highly recommend Jeff for any age level of instruction, he is an outstanding musician and teacher.

I am the owner of DG Rockers Guitar and Music School, a private music school located in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Valentín has served as music instructor as well as music director for over 2 years at my school. Based on my experience, I believe his dedication, passion, knowledge, and innovation have proved to make him an amazing teacher. I first met Francisco on October of the year 2013 when he was interviewing for the position of piano instructor at my school and I remember right away knowing that he would be a great fit. His humility and passion towards serving others was evident right away. Francisco has an incredible gift of being able to connect with young people through music. Over the years I saw Francisco take initiative and build up the music program, composing songs mindfully catered to his students’ musical development, creating his own music learning sheets, inventing comparisons and games to help his students better understand musical concepts, and even simplifying more advanced musical exercises such as the Hanon techniques so that his students could begin strengthening their coordination and technique right from the beginning. I also witnessed him bringing an idea we brainstormed together to life by creating fun and effective rock band classes and putting together concerts with me to showcase our students’ achievements. His upbeat, positive, and kind demeanor was always a great source of inspiration for our students, their parents, and his peers. The passion with which he taught each class cultivated a love for music in every student’s heart that I believe has left a lasting imprint. We always believed in building a sense of community with our students and their parents. This was something that Mr. Valentín was very passionate about, to the extent that he became a mentor and positive role model to our students, catching up with them every class, advising them positively on all matters musical and non-musical, and even bringing them Christmas gifts. He also became a great friend to our family of parents, always treating them with respect, kindness, and talking with them after classes. I believe Mr. Valentín would be a tremendous teacher for anyone and has my utmost recommendation. Beatrice Roberts and her band were hired after hearing them at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. They blew us away that we had to have them for my company's corporate gala. Sweet Bea and the Boys went above and beyond and were integral to the success of the event. Hope to book you again soon, Patricia

I was looking for a band that could entertain my guests who were aged between 45 and 70. Wow! Dream class was the perfect choice! They were the life of the party as they played all the old songs we were very familiar with. There was hardly any room on the dance floor as the band kept the crowd dancing all night. Also liked the way they kept the audience involved with their sing-along games and various contests. Great sound and lighting too. I can't wait to hire them again for our next big event!

Love these two! Along with their beautiful voices, they went above and beyond to make our wedding special! They were willing to meet with us as many times as we needed and they really listened to what we wanted. As the bride, I felt well taken care of. I didn’t have a wedding planner so it was up to Crenshaw to move things along and they did a FANTASIC job! The night was smooth and full of great music and dancing. The band sets the mood for you’re wedding and our guests were LOVING Crenshaw!

About

I'm a premier vocalist in central Florida but willing to do some traveling to add just the right touch to the event's entertainment. I have a six-piece jazz and swing band, "Straight Ahead," which consists of drums, bass, keys, trombone, sax and myself. Collectively, we have over 50 years of entertaining experience and deliver and highly polished, professional and engaging evenings worth of the best in jazz and swing. If room and budget is an issue, we can also pair down to 3 or 4 pieces; you will not be disappointed. As a solo performer, I play keys and also sing to professional tracks. My music selection includes popular covers, from jazz, pop and country to classic rock and disco. I also perform as a duo with my sax player, and our music selection includes popular covers from jazz, pop and country to classic rock and disco. So, whatever your musical selections require, I can certainly fill the bill and deliver a very professional, engaging and exciting show for you.

No one does what we do that way we do it. We provide a full band sound at a one man price! We provide professionally-trained, award-winning, music degreed expertise! We provide a variety of music entertainment services so that we are your one stop shop for every event! Overview MAKAIO is an original one man band consisting of LIVE vocals and LIVE instrumentation with professional background accompaniment creating a full band sound at a one man price! Bio MAKAIO (muh-kah-yo) produces, performs, writes and records all of his own music. He is professionally-trained in music and theatre and has been performing professionally virtually since birth. MAKAIO's love of music has no bounds as he has personally performed and written music of virtually every genre (alphabetically): Acoustic, Blues, Broadway, Christian, Classical, Country, Electronic, Instrumental, Jazz, Pop, Reggae, Rock, Soul, Spiritual, World and more. MAKAIO's own music reaches into the depth of your soul with meaningful reflections and vision for what will be. MAKAIO's music is upbeat and explosive and simultaneously subtle and provocative. His melodies will hook you and his lyrics will dwell within. MAKAIO began his career in entertainment at the age of 3 performing in his first television commercial by crossing his eyes to look at himself. Perhaps, that's when the introspection began. Always more fascinated with why we do things than what we do, by the age of 7 MAKAIO was performing with the National Broadway Touring Company of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice's Evita under the direction of Harold Prince. A musical that dealt with politics, promiscuity, power and ulterior motives, MAKAIO was exposed to the “man behind the curtain” at a very young age and was quickly perceiving, both on and off stage, the full spectrum of who we are. By his early teens MAKAIO had begun writing about his thought-provoking experiences, using song and performance art as his mode of expression. Songs like “Stimulus”, “How the World Shines Bright”, “Just Playin'” and others captured this quest for understanding. Winning first in state in solo snare drum as a teen and functioning as percussion section leader for a variety of concert bands, orchestras, jazz bands, pit bands and more, MAKAIO spent a great deal of time drumming and singing from one band to the next as he continued to write music. As both an accomplished musician and actor, MAKAIO chose to study abroad after high school when he auditioned and was accepted into the highly selective British American Drama Academy (BADA) in Oxford, England and was chosen again from that select group to be one of just a handful of students to work directly with the esteemed Sir Benjamin Kingsley (Ghandhi, Schindler's List, Iron Man 3, etc.) who personally directed MAKAIO as Romeo in Romeo & Juliet. When he returned to the states, MAKAIO shifted his focus back to music where he auditioned and was accepted into the highly selective esteemed School of Music conservatory at De Paul University in Chicago, IL, USA. There his songwriting blossomed, as did his musical abilities, and he went on to graduate with Honors in Vocal Performance. Since then, MAKAIO has continued experimenting with and exploring a variety of musical forms and theatrical experiences. In addition to music, he has written several plays including a dramatically staged theatrical production showcasing his own music to sold out performances. A big fan of experimental bands, MAKAIO has been influenced by bands of all genres and especially those with an "epic" or unique sound and those that implement the theatrical and orchestral into their music. MAKAIO is also greatly influenced by groups with outstanding drummers and those that implement a variety of rhythm making as an integral part of the music. As a result, the music of MAKAIO is an eclectic mix of influences from all time. The sound result is truly unique unto MAKAIO. We hope you will experience and enjoy MAKAIO! MAKAIO would love to bring his musical experience to you! Contact MAKAIO for more information!
