Lisa with The Event Chicks blew us away right from the start. Before we even hired her she was helping us out with a cake catastrophe and saved us from having a wedding with no wedding cake! When I met Lisa she was thorough, delightful to talk to, and felt like an old friend, very easy to fall into conversation with. She took our wedding and made sure there was not one single thing we had to worry about on the day of the ceremony and reception. She took over setup of all of our decorations, coordination with all of our vendors, timeline management and even made sure to handle any and all obstacles that tried to make it to my husband and I. Without Lisa I don't think the day would have been nearly as perfect as it turned out to be and it was just that. Perfect. Typically people tell you to prepare for hiccups, things to go wrong, and the day just generally not turning out how you expected but that was not the case for our wedding and I owe that in large part to the massive effort Lisa put into place to ensure our day was nothing short of spectacular. Thank you, Lisa, for all you did for Brian and I. Not only on the wedding day but the days leading up to the wedding, the rehearsal, and just keeping me sane through it all. We hired The Event Chicks to plan and execute our annual fall party. She went out of her way to understand exactly what we were looking for and showed creativity in making it happen. Throughout the party she kept the food fresh, drinks flowing and it was pleasant to see how well she interacted with all our friends! She worked tirelessly until the end. Met at Seasons 52 for an event. The host, Lisa, was extremely friendly and made everyone comfortable. Everyone at the event had a great time. Lisa gave a little tour of the different areas at Seasons 52 and talked about different events that can be done at Seasons 52. I work in the Medical profession and I need venues that I can use for Educational Inservies for doctors and nurses. Lisa Adams with the Event Chicks did a phenomenal job while working on my wedding. I called her as soon as I got engaged and she was attentive and personable right from the start, she understood what I was needing and wanting for my wedding and geared every recommendation and appointment towards reaching that goal. She went with me to all important meetings with vendors and made sure to ask all the questions that I didn't think of but were very important such as hidden fees or discounts for particular items, she really is there to help you with everything (especially staying on budget)! I loved that I could always reach her on her cell day or night when I needed something, if you want a truley sensational wedding planner hire Lisa. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?The vendors I work with I do so because I trust them to do an AMAZING Job! I do not take kick backs. I feel that that leads planners to except mediocre work. That is not acceptable to me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet with all potential new clients, if not in person, at least over the phone. I like to see if we are a compatible fit personality wise. I want them to choose me because they truly feel I am the best fit for them!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Event Planning from the New York Institute of Art and Design. I also have 12 years of event experience.
