- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The listed price is just an estimate. Pricing may vary based on travel distance, day of the week, holiday, rehearsal attendance, etc. My pricing is very fair compared to the market value for my experience (almost 800 weddings officiated), 25+ years as an Ordained Minister, personality, presentation skills and customization of ceremony for you. One thing to keep in mind when considering the fees of an Officiant... "You get what you pay for." Do you really want to sacrifice superb quality on your wedding day just to save a few dollars?
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether the couple reaches out to me or I see their wedding date and reach out to them, it all starts with fun communication. I offer a quote and upon acceptance, I set up a consultation via phone, FaceTime or Zoom to introduce myself and get to know each other. I explain the process then how we will work together to customize a beautiful ceremony that will accurately reflect their unique love-story. From that point on the planning begins with email and phone correspondence.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Non-denominational). Earned BA in Christian Ministries from Lincoln Christian University, Lincoln, IL. Have served for 30 years in churches in various pastoral, leadership and ministry capacities.
