FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, for staging I have a flat fee based on size of home and the number of rooms to be staged. This includes the furniture, accessories and my time for labor of set up and take down. For redesign, I charge an hourly rate and this varies according to the type of work to be done. As a designer, I am able to get discounts at various stores and websites. When available, I pass these savings on to my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a consultation with the client to discuss the various options and suggestions for the home, whether staging or redesign. I provide them with general pricing and explain the process for the specific job requirements. I also discuss their budget and how we can work with in that range. We discuss the timeline for their project. I ask for questions and concerns the client may have to help them feel comfortable with the process and plan for their home. Once the client decides to hire me, we get started as soon as possible and work to complete the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a teacher, I studied Interior Design and taught this to my students in both middle and high school. I also completed a course in Home staging and am certified as a Professional Home Stager and Redesigner.
