Christine is a former colleague of mine. We taught primary school together for two years, and during that time I was able to get to know her as a teacher and friend. Honestly, she is one of the best teachers I have ever worked with. She always puts the needs and interests of the student above her own and is dedicated to see each student reach their full potential. She expects a lot from her students because she knows they will succeed with diligence and hard work. She takes time to prepare specialized lessons for each individual learner and always seems to know how to build upon that person's particular strengths and weaknesses. I highly recommend her as a tutor and teacher.
Fay responded very quickly to our inquiry for tutoring. After one hour I got thumbs up from my 14 year old son who was falling behind in Algebra 1 who did not want a tutor! We set up a follow up appointment and will keep the tutoring going to master his skills, build confidence and get him a bit ahead so that he can successfully complete his homework and tests. Fay was a pleasure to interact with and very sweet and accommodating.

Christine has helped me tremendously with Calculus. Before Christine, I was not doing well in the class. Moreover I just felt like I did not understand anything and all hopes of success were slim. Christine is so patient and kind. Not only did she reteach me all of my Calculus lessons but most of all I gained full understanding. Calculus is not easy but she breaks each concept down, step by step. Now I'm not in class lost. I wouldn't know what to do without her and I thank her so much.
Brigitte is an excellent Spanish tutor for my two girls ages 2 and 4. She is a native speaker with excellent articulation and technique. She utilizes a variety of methods including audio-visual aids, books, song and games that make learning fun for my children. She is extremely reliable. I strongly recommend her as a tutor.
Joe is a true character. Incredibly witty, his dry humor and frankness is a welcome breath of fresh air in a current environment of adamant political correctness. Nevertheless, he is still sensitive toward one’s personal insecurities; moreover, he is transparent about his own. Make no mistake, however: as personable as he is, that is how adept he is at being a tutor. When he worked for EXCEL/COMPASS, a two year STEM program at the University of Central Florida (UCF) geared towards assisting freshmen and sophomores in their math and science courses, he was always accessible and PATIENT, regardless of his personal overall state. Be it Calculus, College Physics, or Organic Chemistry, he was ready to help any student out with a confused look on their face. But what I admired most about him is his “realness”. He didn’t forget that, as students, we were often short on time and so offered tons of quick techniques to get through the graded assignment at hand-without an ounce of judgement, ever. I was saddened when he left the EXCEL/COMPASS program, but confident that he will continue to deliver quality assistance to his future pupils.
I'm a pediatrician who graduated medical school and college with acceptance into the most prestigious academic societies for outstanding academic performance. I was a tutor in both schools and enjoy aiding others to achieve their goals in academics.

I am a certified teacher and a full time tutor. I tutor quite frequently and love to work with students. I stand out because I am flexible, fair priced, and work hard to connect with the student.
I am a bilingual (Italian and English) engineer. I am available as a teacher for math tutoring lessons as well as Italian tutoring lessons. I am currently working as an ACT trainer in math and science sections. I am available to instruct students in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and physics. Teaching is my job, and there is nothing I can do better! I love it, and students realize it. I would improve knowledge, grades, and understanding of the subject.

As a professor I have always received high student evaluation scores. I put effort into "making a difference" in terms of being able to help students perform better not only in class but applying what they learn in other parts of their life.
I am creative in presentation. If a student doesn't understand one way of working a math problem, I try a different way. I also know how to connect my students' math to the real world. As students see the necessity of the math, they become more keenly engaged in the learning process.
I am a certified math teacher looking for tutoring opportunities at any level. I am a trained educator with a bachelor's degree in math education.
I am an experienced reading expert and have served as a literacy coach for Brevard County Schools for the past 11 years. I am available to tutor students who are working below grade level in reading.
