- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When you engage in our travel services you can expect to pay professional service fees depending on what your needs are, the number of people traveling and the timeframe. You have the option to choose a fully customized itinerary or a quote. The fee covers the in-depth research for your itinerary, consultation, building the itinerary, booking and managing your trip. By charging a fee, we have the freedom to choose between suppliers that work best for you and match you with the best properties, tours and cruises for your travel style regardless of the commission. Many travel agents work on commission only, meaning they only get paid by the travel suppliers they work with. Our main priority is to find the best fit for you without gearing you towards different suppliers who pay more commission. Also, we charge a fee so that we are compensated for our time and expertise and in the event you decide not to book or cancel your trip. Planning a trip properly is quite involved and time intense. There are many moving parts and details. It requires expertise and research to provide you with the right recommendations based on your preferences and needs, to cross all the “t’s” and dot all the “i’s,” and to continue to monitor conditions and changes up to and throughout the trip. All planning fees are non-refundable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As your personal travel consultants, we will meet via phone or email to discuss what your needs and wants are. We will use our destination knowledge, connections and experience to create a customized full service itinerary for each trip. If you’d like to make changes, we're happy to do so! You have up to three revisions of the itinerary. Should you decide to change destinations, it will incur an additional fee since we will start from scratch. You can expect your itinerary within a week. You’ll have access to your itinerary via our mobile itinerary app or browser link. Once you are in love with the itinerary, the booking process begins. As your trip approaches, we'll be putting the finishing touches and sending you everything that you need, so that all you’ll need to do is pack!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You can book with our agency in confidence as I am an ASTA verified travel advisor and a certified travel associate with Nexion LLC as my host agency. I am an Accredited Cruise Counselor with CLIA. I am up to date on all the major cruise line’s trainings including Virgin Voyages, MSC, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Viking, Silversea, Ama Waterways, etc. I attend travel conferences so I am up to date on all things travel. With travel in all 7 continents, I have gained real life experience from the destinations I send my clients to.
