About

Monique worked with us in hour long weekly violin lessons with a very excited 6 year old boy. She was flexible with our ever changing schedule, firm in her expectations and worked very hard to keep the little one focused while keeping the violin lessons at his level. We really appreciated her consistency and structure throughout the lessons, which is exactly what is needed when teaching violin to children. Because of outside circumstances we have had to suspend lessons for a while but look forward to working with her again in the future.

About

Why not learn to sing correctly the first time? Do you want to improve your vocal performance? Are you interested in improving your pitch, tone, and vocal stamina? Do you want to ensure that you have a healthy voice now and for years to come? Welcome to Zagaria Vocal Academy (ZVA) and Zagaria Music. We provide in-studio, online, or in-the-home voice and music lessons. Private, buddy lessons, group classes, seminars, and master classes are also available. You can come to us, we can come to you, or we can meet online through Skype or other online ways. Small group lessons are available for only $10.00 per hour through special group rates and are a great way to start. Group classes are currently offered with the following schedules: * Monday -- 10:00 p.m. * Tuesday -- 9:00 p.m. * Wednesday -- 8:00 p.m. * Thursday -- 7:00 p.m. We are excited to announce that the Zagaria Vocal Academy LLC has been accepted as a member of the internationally acclaimed association NAMM. We were present in NAMM's shows in California and Nashville shows in 2014. I have been blessed to work with several Grammy Award-winning producers and their talented clients as well as finalists on TV hit shows The Voice and American Idol. However, you do not have to be a pro to begin with ZVA. For example, I love working with children starting at ages three and up. Senior citizens are also always welcome. Teaching beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels is always fun. I also have trained a few excellent teachers to help broaden our educational experience as well as price point. I have a lot of experience teaching voice and music teachers as well as pro and semipro musicians in the field of music. However, I love to work with anyone who would like to improve. I'd also like to encourage you to perhaps try buddy lessons and group lessons that I teach weekly. Celine Dion, Reba McEntire, Gospel's award-winning Richard Smallwood, Maestro Charles Floyd (Natalie Cole), and world-renown Boston Pops Orchestra are some familiar artists that I have performed with. Some of the awards that I have achieved are six community service awards between 1991-2014 (Lowell, MA and Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton, FL) as well as the James B. Francis Scholarship for Undergraduate Research (University Of Massachusetts, Lowell). I have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree with a focus in power electronics and alternative green energy from UMass Lowell, with a minor in fine arts and sculpture as well as a master's class diploma in gospel music studies from New England Conservatory of Music. One personal achievement that I am particularly fond of is the designing, publishing, and implementation of the Zagaria Vocal Method or ZVM. My method is built on three pillars: "science", "art", and "athletics". The ZVM is a system of vocal training that I have developed in my over 20 years of voice teaching experience. The systematic approach is influenced by my engineering discipline, athletics and physical achievement as well as love of art and beauty of sound. The neighborhood just got a lot larger! Many people from foreign countries have employed me to teach them how to sing limiting their accent (accent reduction). Esteemed speech pathologist Jean Bachrach is a praise and worship leader at her Palm Beach, FL, church. Jean is one of the long-time vocal students of the ZVM. Mrs. Bachrach agreed to a coauthorship deal with me on a new method book for reducing accents for English as a second language speakers. Jean and I have been using the ZVM accent reduction technique now for three years. You can contact us for any of your accent reduction needs. Jean and I co-teach as well as take clients individually and do in-group sessions. Our website has more information on the course work offered. Furthermore, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to write and publish four books including "Know Your Voice - The Zagaria Vocal Method Level 1 Lesson Book", a workbook, a book of published poems, and a technical manual for a mainframe business computer program. I also did eight professional voice teaching videos as well as many songs, arrangements, and performance credits on published albums. Our family's business of more than 65 years of music teaching experience is time tested. All of our teachers are trained, certified, and monitored by Jeffrey Zagaria personally. Our teachers are trained at various levels and therefore command different levels of compensation. We can set you up with an excellent teacher at your skill level and price point. Our teachers are known for their upright character as well as their highly skilled level of knowledge. It is our pleasure to serve you. ZVA is the only place that one can find a certified professional instructor in the Zagaria Vocal Method. However, several teachers outside our academy are using the ZVM. We are excited to know that the ZVM is currently being taught by at least three different teachers and music schools in Moscow, Russia. We would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the spreading of the ZVM. Thank you! "Most teachers approach music lessons rigidly and systematically. I believe that everyone is unique and must therefore be taught in a truly unique way. In this manner, lessons can become alive and stimulating to both student and mentor. I personally have taken many lessons over my lifespan. As a student, I observed that great teachers create an atmosphere that encompasses more than the written note. Music is an expression of life itself, a gift from God. I always hope to share the inspiration received from the many great artists that I have been blessed to work with. I am especially indebted to my father who has been teaching music students for over sixty years. It is always an honor to share the knowledge and love of music that has been passed along to me." -- Jeffrey Zagaria

I have had the pleasure of working with Pierre both in the orchestra, playing chamber music, as well as taking violin lessons from him. Pierre has a lot of experience and his devoted passion for finding a way to reach your goal is very inspiring when you go back to the practice room. I therefore highly recommend Pierre as a teacher or contracting him as a musician. Esbjörn Falk, Sweden

I am in the midst of completing my BA in Music performance for cello, with years experiencing teaching at local conservatories and in-home lessons. I'm always looking for new students, whether you want to learn for fun and/or especially if you are a serious student. I've taught students from four years old to adult students, both with no previous music background.

About

I provide a personalized education and tutoring services (for all ages) in the following fields: * Mathematics * Accounting * Music theory * Jazz studies and theory * English composition * Reading * FCAT * SAT test preparation My ability to teach complex subject matter comes from professional training in "deconstructing" such complexities. By deconstructing a problem, I can address whatever the issue may be and make sure that the student achieves a full mastery of the subject matter. I will make sure that the learning experience is free from intimidating notions and full of achievements even in the first lesson! Having taught various student populations, I have developed a diverse methodology format that is tailored to the specific student regardless of his or her age and according to his or her needs. For a parent and a student, results have to be measured, and my goal will be to be able to get the most learning gains!
