Rebecca is very knowledgeable and creates a safe and fun environment for my kids (age 4 and 3). She has a flexible schedule and was able to accommodate my same day request. She is able to teach life saving skills and my kids enjoyed working with her. I highly recommend getting swimming lessons with Rebecca and her daughter Caroline.

Laura is a top notch teacher. She is very good with young children, keeping them engaged and learning at the same time. Though per lesson fees seem high the speed with which my kids learned to swim make the classes a good value.

After 2 sessions, my 2 and 5 year olds already began to feel more comfortable in the water with Tara. It was a great progress that they made with just after 2 sessions. We let our 5 y.o. tookhi group lesson at ymca for what month but no progress at all. Tara is discipline but yet was creative to help our kids open up and participate. Tara is very on time and my daughter already trusts Tara. We highly recommend Tara if you need private swimming lesson.

Excellent and professional are the words that describe her. I am 55 and had not had swimming lessons for 30 years. I could only swim underwater. By the first lesson I was swimming decently freestyle; by the end of the second lesson I was comfortable doing elementary backstroke and much improved in my freestyle. I expect by the end of my sixth lesson I will be very comfortable in all aspects of swimming. She comes highly recommended by me. Five ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Meg is helping my 2 year old twins learn to be water safe and swim. She is very good with kids, able to jump between activities to keep their interest. She teaches how to "talk to the fishies", rescue Nemo from the step just below where they are comfortable, and jump into the pool and reach for the edge. One twin is a natural waterbaby and is progressing faster than I thought a 2 year old could. The other twin is more afraid of the water, but Meg is patient and calm, and adjust her teaching to what my kid is comfortable with while still pushing her to improve.

About

Hello, my name is Ali, and I am a private contractor who provides swim lessons and volleyball lessons in Hillsborough and Pinellas County. Swim Lessons I discovered my passion for swimming at a young age which led me to swim competitively for 9 years. I have been teaching swimming lessons for over 7 years now, and I have worked for many swim schools in the area. I am certified in adult-child-infant CPR/AED and standard first aid. I specialize in stroke development and advanced swimming, but I teach all ages and skill levels. I believe in teaching students how to play safely in the water as well as survival skills. I stress the importance of pool safety and knowing your bodies limits. Volleyball Lessons I played left side and right side hitter in high school and accepted a scholarship to play libero (passing specialist) at Rend Lake College in 2008. If graduating at RLC, I received a scholarship to play at Lindenwood University near St. Louis, MO. After being the captain for 2 years, I was asked to continue my education into my master's and build the junior varsity volleyball team as the Head JV Coach. I coached at Lindenwood for two years and also coached an eighth grade boys' volleyball team and a 16-year old traveling team. I specialize in passing and hitting, but I can teach any skill level and position. Lessons Approach I am very outgoing and energetic. I believe that learning should be fun. I mold each lesson to the student. Everyone learns in different ways at a different pace and as an instructor, I focus on the positives and how to improve and avoid negative criticism. When teaching young students (especially swimming), it is 80% psychology and 20% knowledge of swimming that makes someone a successful instructor.

About

I teach one on one or semi-private lessons to children and adults. For semi-private lessons, all participants involved must be at the same swimming level.

I provide help if you need to translate any documents in between these languages: French, Italian, Albanian and English. I am a native speaker of Albanian and Italian. I learned at a very young age, so I know it almost as good as Albanian. I studied French for around 7 years, and I feel pretty confident with it, and I've been living in the states since 2003 and currently pursuing a computer engineering degree at USF. I also offer chess lessons for beginner and intermediate players (up to 1800 FIDE) and swimming lessons. I learned chess from my father at a very young age, and I'm very good at it especially blitz online (I'm not a tournament player, but I'm sure I can help you if you're a beginner or intermediate player. Just contact me, and I've been swimming for a very long time. I joined USF modest swimming team for sometime).
