Introduction
I have several years of experience as an educator and many more as a working musician. I have my degree in Music with voice as my primary instrument. I have always been frustrated with music teachers who had one size fits all approaches to music but music is anything but one size fits all. Everyones experience preferences and vocal mechanism is different and I make a point to set specific and realistic goals with my students. My main concern will always be vocal health and efficiency, ensuring that all of my singers are using their voice in a productive and sustainable manner.

Ms. Charlotte has been teaching my son piano for about 3 years now. Lessons were originally his fathers idea but now his lesson is his favorite part of the week. Ms. Charlotte is very skilled at gaging where my sons emotional and energy levels are when she arrives and always shapes their lesson around that. She uses a lot of positive reinforcement that helps him get through most of the 'not so fun' parts of learning a new skill. She sets realistic and flexable goals so he feels motivated and not pressured. No matter how he feels before his lesson, he always leaves feeling accomplished. She is an amazing musician, teacher, and person. She has become a close family friend through the years as she has always made an effort to support my son at his other extra curricular events. She is a kind, compassionate, wise, and talented young woman who I highly recommend to anyone looking to learn from her.
