FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Notary fees are set by state law. A notary public is allowed to charge for each notarial act a basic fee set by law plus additional expenses unrelated to the notarial act. A notary normally would charge an additional fee for time & travel and additional expenses a client may require in order to provide services. You will find my quotes to be fair and affordable! My service fee includes the fees set by Florida law for the notarial act (required for oaths, affidavits, marriage, etc.) plus any additional services, time & travel. Some quotes may later be amended should you wish to include additional ceremonies to a traditional wedding that require more time and personalization.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on their needs, I usually get right to the details to make sure they have everything they need that is required by law, whether or not they choose to hire me. I still want the new customers to understand where they stand in the process so they know what to expect. I am always available for Q&A's!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a practicing Notary Public since 2004 in the State of Florida. I am also certified Signing Agent for mortgage closing and refinancing contracts. I also take a refresher course every 4 years at Miami Dade College to stay up to date on any changing laws that affect the requirements of performing notarial acts whether it be for oaths/affidavits or legal matrimony, etc.
