Gr custom carpentry

Had great experience with Gr Carpentry. They instslled a mesh screen door for our front door. We also needed a pet outlet for our cat to go in and out in the same door. Gabriel and his team took care of this customization quite neatly. They came on time as promised and installed the screen door within no time. Pet outlet looks perfect.

Gabriel also gave me an excellent price for this project. I highly recommend Gr Carpentry for any simple or custom carpenting, wood related work. He is a great resource.

Hector and his assistant did a great job putting in new door where one didn’t exist at all. It requires careful planning, measurements, purchasing the supplies and carrying out the job. He added framework, studs, dry wall- finished it, door frame , door itself and then painted the door . All in all Hector did the whole project timely, very easy to communicate with , started and finished the project as promised within the time constraints. Solid job... I will definitely recommend Hector for any similar projects . Will be using his services for sure in future . Price for the job was very reasonable.

$125 to clean and lubricate doors. Did a thorough job, took all the doors out, cleaned the tracks and made sure it was working smoothly. I don’t love the $100 estimate fee bc you are basically forced to do something or get nothing for $100 which I suppose is the business model.

I thought I needed new rollers and that was going to be $275 per panel! Luckily it just needed a clean and lube. Took about an hour so fair price in the end.

Masterslide

I hired Masterslide to fix a water leak in a sliding door at my property. I was clear from the start that stopping the leak was my primary concern. He assured me that the work he would perform—replacing the wheels, adjusting the door, and cleaning the track—would resolve the issue.

However, after the work was completed, the leak remained. The technician later admitted that he knew the door couldn’t fully stop the water due to structural issues with the way the house was built. Unfortunately, he didn’t inform me of this before moving forward with the work, even though he realized it wouldn’t solve the problem. This lack of communication is a major issue. He improved things I didn’t ask and I’m left with the same problem that was started with.

While he did align the doors, which wasn’t a priority for me, the main problem—the water leak—was never resolved. I wouldn’t do business with him again or recommend him to anyone.

Despite my dissatisfaction, I’ve decided to pay the remaining balance to move on from this situation. I’m very disappointed with the outcome and would advise others to seek out a specialist who can ensure the work addresses your primary concerns.
