I’ve taken weekly guitar lessons from Gene for over two years. At first I knew nothing about playing a guitar but with Gene’s teaching style I was able to learn a lot quickly and have an absolute blast at the same time. What I like the most about the lessons were they’re broken down by manageable material that you can work on each week. Gene takes his time to guide (and quiz you) on the material to make sure you understand and move on to the next lesson. If you’re looking for an exceptional guitarist, someone willing to understand your goals and learning style, then Gene is who you should take lessons from! Two thumbs up!

I thought that Tim was an excellent teacher. He really taught the fundamentals and every piano lesson had to be done to perfection. Even though it was tough, I was able to play beautiful pieces and had a wonderful experience as a student.

Jesse is a very talented music instructor. My son takes guitar lessons from him and loves going to lessons each week. Jesse makes each lesson unique and has taught him so much knowledge not only about guitar but different genres of music. I highly recommend.

Tim Collins was my instructor as a teenager and used his unique way of teaching to help enable me to express myself through music. Ultimately, the things Tim taught me about musical theory have taken me on the road with my band and have allowed me to share the stage with some very successful bands. More than anything, he was able to give me the ability to bring my thoughts and feelings to life through rhythm and melody. Very grateful to have had Tim as a mentor.

      About

Teaching Guitar, Ukuleke and Songwriting. Singer and multi-instumentalist for Private Functions, Weddings, Festivals and other venues. I'm a lifetime professional singer/songwriter/guitarist with formal guitar/vocal training background. I regularly perform in festivals, schools, local and national venues. I've taught in schools and privately for over 25 years, facilitating songwriting, guitar and music workshops with all ages as well as special needs kids. As a musician for your event I have a varied repertoire of popular songs, from Patsy Cline to Norah Jones, Frank Sinatra to Jason Mraz. I can learn any song, and have originals as well. I sing and play guitar, mandolin and ukulele and play most styles. As a music teacher I can integrate any topic into the learning environment through music. My goal is to inspire and empower students to embrace their unique musical voice and utilize that in a healthy, positive way. My specialty is accessing the appropriate personal approach for each student. As a guitar teacher, I assess your goals and needs--then taylor lessons to that. As a songwriting teacher, I have techniques to improve one's craft as well as help with editing, arrangements, and overall presentation of original works. I'm a lot of fun, very silly and laid back. I believe in a hands-on approach to playing--with more focus on learning kinetically than reading. I've recently added ukulele to my palate, and am excited to be offering UKE lessons now too! Thank you!

      About

My name is Adam Rohrer. I have been teaching guitar lessons professionally for 2 years. I can teach all styles of guitar from classical to rock and anything in between. I currently am in charge of the after school music program at St. Paul's catholic school and play guitar and piano in a local band.

      About

I've been teaching beginner and intermediate guitar for a decade and have always had very satisfied students. I am a teacher at heart, and I tailor my teaching plan to each student's individual needs and style. My background is not in formal classical training but in a self-taught, experience-driven learning style that I have used mostly in contemporary church settings (playing the acoustic guitar). I teach the fundamentals of playing the guitar along with enough music theory (scales, key signatures and transposition) to help students thrive as competent musicians and continue to learn long after they learn from me. My goal is to help my students derive the most enjoyment out of learning the instrument as well as achieve their unique goals, such as performance, personal expression (songwriting), or service in a community or church band. I work with all ages, and satisfaction is guaranteed.

      About

We not only teach how to play an instrument, we teach secrets of how to work and communicate with other members of a band. We have played with many bands on a fill in basis, thus honing our abilities to know the codes and what is expected to be able to work efficiently without the luxury of rehearsal. Working skills not only apply to working with a band but jams as well. Even more important we teach you the songs and the style of music that you enjoy. We know that if you are not enjoying what you are playing you will be discouraged and not spend the practice time that is needed to be able to play with efficiency.
