FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes I have a standard pricing system for my services. Wedding receptions start at $600 and if there are any additional services that are needed, (such as karaoke, video monitors, slide show presentation, etc...) I charge by the service which is listed on my website. Birthday parties and other other event that requires less equipment and set up time my be charged less. It would be on a case by case basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with a new client is first, find out what type of event that the client wants and the clients expectations. After listening to the client's expectations, I then formulate a plan based on the clients needs. Sometimes, we can come up with a format for the event in one phone call but most times, additional phone calls or in person meetings may be required to finalized all the details. There will be a required face to face meeting at the venue that the event will take place so that we can go over and finalize all details of the event. Once everything is agreed upon, I will then take if from there and the client will not have to worry about my end of the performance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained with a professional DJ for 3 years before branching off on my own. I also took some online sound engineering courses to help with getting the maximum sound out of my system by placing the speakers in the optimal position to accomplish this. As I perform at different events, I learn something new that I can take with me and use at future events to make them better than the last.
