Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My attention to detail, and my pride in craftsmanship. I don't take on a project just to earn a pay check. I'm putting my name on it, and my name is important to me. I like working with my hands, having to trouble shoot and problem solve. I really enjoy working with the home owners and seeing their expression when the job starts to come together. Those who already been through a remodel, repaint, or a repair already know it can be stressful as your home goes through this transformation. I understand this and explain each step to home owners so they have an idea of what the project consist of from beginning to end.

My wife and I have contracted several painting jobs with Mike Murphy. We were more than pleased with the results. It is not often that you find someone with his unsurpassed professionalism. We were amazed with Mike's work ethic and his attention to detail. Mike is very knowledgeable in his field. He goes beyond just completing a job; the job ...is as important to him as it is to the home owner. ... Over the years I have had several home projects contracted in my home and Mike is in a class by himself. As a retired teacher, I must say young people like Mike give me hope. His integrity and commitment to help others is the heart of a job well done. I will not hesitate to call Mike Murphy in the future and I will have a peace of mind as a homeowner knowing him.

I Highly recommend Michael Murphy for any home improvement project. He is very professional with a strong work ethic. He wants things done right and there for will not cut corners. Our home turned out to be a major project. We initially wanted pressure washing and to repaint the exterior which in return revealed dry rot and other areas that were of obvious concern. Michael was more than capable to complete all repairs for a reasonable price. Take advantage of the discounts being offered now!!

Does not follow contract. Contract says all work will be done between 8-5. Sometimes he did not show up until 6 pm. When the flood came in the spring of 2014, we did not see him for a couple of months. He would call and say he was coming but did not show. The longer he worked the sloppier he got. I can still show you area he did not paint behind and places where paint from wall is on ceiling. Also we tried to help him in the beginning. told him he cou7ld have my old 1998 pick up for 800.00 in labor, he still owes us 400.00 in labor from over a year ago. He talks the talk but doesn't walk it when it comes to the job. Jerome

Mr. Delisle is confusing a personal matter with a business matter, the contracts the corporate entity had with Mr. Delisle was a contract to do an Interior repaint, and repairs to the interior and exterior of the home were added in while honoring the contract. I also held a contract with him to coat a wooden deck. All of these contracts were fulfilled during business hours, with little to no fault. The 8-5 work schedule is stated in regards to the hours I must have access to the premises to honor the contract. I never once complained about having to wait, in some cases an hour or better for him to get up. I respect the fact that those who have retired have earned their right to sleep in. I simply adjusted my work hours and would show up a hour later around 9 a.m. There were a few times I showed up closer to lunch, but like anyone else I have personal matters to address during business hours as well. My contract states I’m not in violation of contract by coming in late after handling business or personal matters. I always did my best to inform him a head of time, if I did plan on showing up at a later time. Mr. Delisle has a valid compliant when it comes a personal debt to him, but the agreement was not to be worked off in labor, it was a cash agreement. Mr. Delisle is a fair and good man, who has helped me in many ways. He offered a chance to offset part of the debt with work done to the master bedroom. This was to be done on my personal time and not the company’s, the truck became my personal truck it is not titled with the company. My Fault lays in my inexperience at that time, my 1st work season in business was the season of 2014 when the floods hit. I tried to maintain a crew and repair homes to maintain and grow a new business that did not have financial backing from banking institutes. My lack of experience lead me to making poor chooses while hiring during this time. I found myself chasing employees, putting out fires, and working late hours to make up for when employees showed up late, or not at all. They say hindsight is 20/20 and foresight is priceless, if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have got myself into this mess which lead to failing to honor a personal agreement. I claim to do good work, but never once claimed to be perfect, or without fault. It’s not realistic of me to think I’m going to hit everything thrown at me out of the park. It’s been a major learning experience, and when things don’t go as planned, or I am a fault with a project, client, or personal friend, I do my best to make things right as quick as possible. The work to the bathroom was done, I have not had contact with Mr. Delisle since. I can understand his grief in the matter, but certain events which are a personal matter, and do not belong here have made me weary of trying to work off the rest of the debt, if that ever became an option. I have recently contacted Mr. Delisle informing him that I’m starting to recover from a slow hard winter, in which I was lucky to maintain a roof over my head and food in my belly. I informed him now that the season is back in I’m in the process of getting this personal debt paid off (as well as others debts ), and I would be honoring the entire $850.00 that we agreed on and not accepting credit for the work done to the bathroom. I invite Mr. Delisle to write a proper review in regards to the contracts held by the corporate entity, I’m sure he can find constructive criticism, and flaw with something I did under contract. To error is human, I’m humble enough to accept my flaws, and fault, and can only try to improve where needed.
