Latest Review: I am a professional musician who, until taking piano lessons with Scott Bennett, was self taught with a completely improper technique that I'd spent a lifetime developing. In a relatively short time, he's helped me to eliminate a lot of bad piano habits. I am now much better at reading music, and my playing has improved tremendously. I've tried taking lessons before at various stages in my career, but until now have never had a teacher that inspired me to continue the process for more than a couple of weeks….I've been taking lessons from Scott Bennett for nearly two years

Latest Review: Diana came to me “out of the blue” and the timing was perfect……I had not touched my piano in three years; my favorite piano teacher had moved away, and somehow I thought he could never be replaced, and seemingly, just gave up! (I might as well mention here that I am a woman “of a certain age”….. well ok, I’ll admit to being somewhere over 50!) I had my first lesson with Diana almost exactly a year ago and although embarrassed at my rustiness, she quickly put me at ease and made things comfortable by bringing out some nice, easy teacher/student duets. Soon we were laughing together on the bench and I was actually having fun. I don’t remember ever having FUN during piano lessons ! Diana has honed her considerable skills sharply over her teaching career, and you will know that from your first meeting. She is truly excited about teaching and I have learned more in this one year with her than four with my previous beloved teacher and - hardly do they count – but the 2 others before him and one after. It seems like I knew nothing but how to read, and during this year she has given me many lovely pieces to vary my practice and at the same time, increase my reading skills. I didn’t know a thing about theory and honestly, was not even vaguely interested in knowing a thing! That’s all changed. Diana can inspire even the most stubborn of us to want to know more – to play more – and best of all, for me - to actually have fun while we’re practicing, with her or without her. I cannot say enough about how happy I am to be one of her students and I am recommending her for any age, at any stage! She will bring out the best in you. Linda D. on October 15, 2015

Latest Review: Thank you Elite Music Instruction. The bottom line is good teachers get good results and our children love their teachers. Our daughter has been taking piano lessons with Elite Music Instruction for three years and our son has been taking violin lessons with Elite Music Instruction for two and a half years. I just could not get my children to practice with their old teacher and now I can't get them to stop practicing.

Latest Review: When I first hired Jovian to teach my daughter to play piano, I was worried that he would not be able to teach her at the level she had attained so far. My concern was quickly dispelled. Not only did my daughter affirm that Jovian was teaching her to move ahead in her skills, but I could tell just by listening to the music that she was practicing that it was harder than what she had done before. I also worried that hour long piano lessons would exhaust her and lose her interest. She had always had half-hour lessons. However, she loves the added time and is more focused. The lesson fees were higher than we had paid in the past, but the lessons are twice as long, and Jovian gives them to her right in our own home. I want Sarah to be a well-rounded child. Music is integral to that, and I want her to improve at it throughout her life. I love watching her struggle and struggle, trying again and again, many times through tears, and then finally achieving her goal of playing a classic piece of piano music perfectly. Jovian takes his job very seriously. He is punctual, well-mannered, calm, and patient. He knows his craft technically and artistically, combining his lessons with technical practice skills and music theory with hints and suggestions to make the music most beautiful.
