FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing can be structured on an hourly basis, or a set fee structure based on clients budgetary requirements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process typically begins with an initial consultation, during which the designer meets with the client to discuss the project goals and requirements. This is a crucial step, as it allows the designer to get a sense of the client’s style, budget, and any functional needs that must be addressed. After the initial consultation, the designer will typically create a design plan, moodboard, or proposal outlining the scope of the project and any specific design elements that will be included. This may include floor plans, furniture layouts, and a selection of materials and finishes. Once the design plan has been approved by the client, the designer will begin sourcing materials and finishes, as well as selecting furniture and decor items. This may involve visiting showrooms, online shopping, and working with vendors to custom-design pieces. During this phase, the designer will also be responsible for creating any detailed construction documents, including electrical and lighting plans, as well as coordinating with contractors and other professionals as needed. As the project progresses, the designer will work closely with the client to make any necessary revisions or adjustments to the design plan. This may include changes to the layout, the selection of materials and finishes, or the addition of new elements. Once the design is complete, the designer will oversee any construction (if applicable) and the installation of all elements, including furniture, lighting, and decorative items. This is a crucial step, as it ensures that everything is placed correctly and functions as intended. Finally, the designer will conduct a final walk-through with the client to ensure that the space meets all of their expectations and is ready for use.
