Last year I severely herniated a disc in my neck, and I convinced myself that my days of heavy lifting were over. I started training with Dave in January 2015, and instead of working around my injury he targeted my muscle imbalances by strengthening my weak areas. Youre only as strong as your weakest link, and by rebuilding my foundation I have exponentially increased my strength and dramatically transformed my physique. Recently, Ive started to love running because even my endurance has increased. I always look forward to our training sessions because I am either learning something new or hitting a PR on one of my lifts. Most of all, I love that I can be excited about lifting again. Dave is one the most passionate and knowledgeable professionals in the industry, and I hope to continue training with him for a long time.
Saying that Gigi is awesome is an understatement! She is so thorough, which I totally need. I couldn't seem to balance my workout schedule and eating well at the same time. Gigi, a chef, nutritionist and a personal trainer, gives me weekly vegan meal plans and challenges me during our workouts. I have some health challenges and she's done research, asks questions and has modified some exercises for me. I'm eating the vegan protein bites she made for me as a snack this week and I am beyond thrilled. All of that and she's fun to boot. Do yourself a favor and book this woman NOW.
