As she demonstrates a move or stretch, she observes the students to see if an accommodation is needed. An emphasis is made that people have different body types and health concerns, requiring adjustments to moves. I trust any suggestion that she makes for me. My eyes are often closed during most of a yoga session. Healthfuleigh’s voice is very soothing, and her cues are detailed. She explains exactly what to do and includes reminders about breathing, lengthening, using the core, etc. It is very relaxing to follow her, without looking at her. I have done yoga with Healthfuleigh for 8 years now, and have had several surgeries during these years. She helped me get stronger after each one. Now I have the usual aches and pains that most people live with; however, I always leave a session feeling better than when I arrived."See more
