About

I provide golf lessons for individuals and groups, for men and women, juniors to seniors. I work with players of all skill levels, beginners to advanced. In addition to a standard-range lesson, on-course playing lessons are also available, as well as video swing analysis. I teach the proper fundamentals, swing mechanics, driving, iron play, wedge play, all-around short game, course management, and the mental side. I'm a firm believer that not all golfers are created equal; my lessons are tailored to the student and his/ her needs. I have 20 years experience as a playing professional, PGA apprentice, and teacher. My goal is to see you maximize your potential as a player.

About

I am a PGA certified golf professional. I have over 20 years of experience teaching golf and thousands of lessons given under my belt. My new business uses a Golf opti-shot computer and video along with a extremely trained eye. I can teach students (up to four at a time) in the comforts of their own home and business using the computer, a portable net, foam or real balls, and I can even provide some clubs. Another exciting and fun aspect of my business is to provide 'golf entertainment' for parties that are looking for something different and fun to do for their guests! Play three or four holes (or a full round), have a long drive contest, etc. My opti-shot offers many different courses to play as well. I am a career military veteran and also served as a DOD Civilian after my active duty career. I was lucky enough to have taught golf to our military service members around the world. I have worked at high profile bases overseas such as Ramstein AB, Germany; Aviano AB, Italy; Andersen AFB, Guam; Howard AFB, Panama, along with some stateside bases. My method of teaching gives you immediate positive results case-in-point. If I can teach NFL running back Ricky Williams to turn his slice into a draw in two swings, I can do it for you too. My pricing is very reasonable.

About

My Golf Journey: I was born and reared in St. Petersburg, Florida. I began my golf journey at the tender age of six. My parents, Cliff and Lucille Brehme, were both golfers and decided to make it a family activity. My brother Jim and I both began to play, with the guidance of our dad, who had a single-digit handicap. We became members at Lakewood CC (now St. Pete CC), and that is where we received our first formal golf instruction. When I was nine years old, a summer junior camp, run by the legendary Skip Alexander, was offered at the club. By the age of 11, I was breaking 80. My God-given talent and desire to excel, coupled with the knowledge gained from a PGA teacher's expertise, enabled me to progress at an accelerated rate. I graduated from Lakewood High School where I played on the golf team for three years and on the baseball team on my senior year. I was voted onto the all-city and all-county golf teams each year, as well as to the all-city and all-county baseball team on my senior year. I attended Eastern Kentucky University on a golf scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. I turned pro and played the PGA Space Coast Tour for two years. I cashed a few checks but ultimately decided to get into the golf industry. Over a span of six years, I worked at a club here in Florida, and one in Texas. During that time, I was teaching extensively and honing my skills. My passion for teaching grew and led me to leave my club job and seek a position where I could concentrate all my attention on teaching. Over the years, I have taught at several locations in Pinellas County. I have instructed thousands of students including women, men, juniors, individuals with disabilities, and all skill levels, from beginner to professional. I am presently teaching at Ace Golf Driving Ranges in Hillsborough County, at both the Brandon and Riverview locations. I am also an instructor for National Golf Schools. My method of teaching centers on working with the individual and their unique abilities. Together, we determine their goals, and I develop a plan for their improvement. The PGA professionals who have influenced my career are as follows: * Skip Alexander * Jack Good * Dr. Jim Suttie * Ray Struder * Dick Hoelzer * CEO of National Golf Schools Pat Livingston Accomplishments include the following: * Set Course Record at Mangrove Bay G.C. St. Petersburg, FL (65) * Tied Course Records at Arlington C.C. (64), Lowest Round (63), and Holes in One (4) * Tournament Wins at Every Level (Junior, College, and Professional) * Caddied on the PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour and Russ Cochran (PGA), Kathy Whitworth and Judy Kimball (LPGA) and Freddie Haas Jr. (CT)
