Introduction: We are certified and also care about our students welfare and emotional status; learning can be an emotional thing. Some people are scared, and need encouragement and patience. Some people are on medications for social anxiety and are trying something new with dance; we care about each individual students needs. Love is our greatest skill! I love my students. I love that they come to me with individual goals but also individual insecurities that I can help them conquer! We dance against ourselves, our own mind tells us we arent good enough but you are good enough and I am a coach that encourages and loves my students! I love my job and am very blessed to meet new people every single day so what i love most are my students; seeing them grow into their full potential and people and dancers.

Grace is PHENOMENAL on and off the dance floor! She doesnt just teach from a generic syllabus, but personalizes all her material to fit her students needs. She teaches at all levels, so everyone takes away something from the class. Grace builds on concepts instead of memorized patterns. She teaches the men to dance with respect and women to dance with elegance. Grace recognizes that dance is therapeutic and creates an atmosphere that is fun and encouraging. Even though Grace has a well known reputation in the salsa community across the country, she is the most humble person I know. She makes every one of her students feel special. Other instructors could learn a thing or two from her. Ive been attending her classes for two years and I wouldnt go anywhere else. I highly recommend Dancing with Grace. Youll leave her class with more than a few new dance steps.

I have been taking lessons for many years and worked with as many different instructors. Grace does a great job at reading the class and adjusts her pace accordingly, not making you feel rushed, which is a common flaw in most instructors. Grace in her lessons also includes factoids about the dances and moves which, for me, makes the classes interesting and fun.

Grace is patient, thorough in her instruction dedicated and knowledgeable in her field. Personally she is warm friendly and open-hearted and giving to everyone. I highly recommend her for your salsa instruction!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Train with creators of the styles who are still alive. Salsa is Young!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to sing with a band and write music. I was always asked during breaks if i could teach people how to dance because I used to dance in between sets. At one point I had over 100 people ask. I knew it was a sign from God so I got certified and have been teaching everyone ever since! I even teach the blind, deaf, mentally challenged and autistic!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We do private lessons, group lessons, private club lessons for special interest groups, dance lessons for married couples (candlelight private lessons), MC, Creatively direct, Wedding dances, Bridal Showers, and so much more.
