FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many of my travel planning and booking services are complimentary when you book your vacation through me, including cruises, all-inclusive resorts, Disney, Universal, and many vacation packages. For custom itineraries, such as Europe and multi-city trips that require more extensive research and coordination, I charge a nonrefundable planning fee starting at $250. This allows me to dedicate the time needed to thoughtfully research and design your trip from start to finish. I’ll always explain what is included and whether a planning fee applies before we begin—no surprise fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a travel inquiry so I can learn about you, where you’d like to go, your dates, budget, travel style, and what you want this trip to feel like. From there, we’ll connect to make sure we’re a good fit and talk through your priorities. Once you’re ready to move forward, I begin researching and creating options specifically for your trip rather than sending you a list of generic packages. After you book, I stay involved throughout the planning process. Depending on your trip, I can assist with hotels, transportation, tours and experiences, dining, cruises, theme park planning, and all those little logistical details that can make travel feel overwhelming. You’ll also have someone you can reach out to with questions before and during your travels. My goal is for you to feel taken care of from our first conversation until you’re home again.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Travel is an industry where education never really stops. I regularly complete destination, resort, cruise line, and supplier training so I can give my clients knowledgeable, up-to-date recommendations. I specialize in European travel, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, Disney and Universal vacations, honeymoons, and customized family travel. I’m also affiliated with Polka Dots N’ Wishes Travel and NEST Elite, which gives me access to industry relationships, resources, and preferred travel partners around the world. Beyond formal training, my own travel experience plays a huge role in the way I plan. I spent much of my childhood living in England, have lived in Hawaii, and have traveled extensively with my own family. That combination of professional training and real-world experience helps me think beyond simply choosing a hotel and booking a flight—I’m looking at how the entire trip will actually work.
