- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lets get to the most asked question, "How much do you charge?" To write and perform a ceremony in Vero Beach and surrounding cities of Indian River County the fee is $80. Outside of Indian River County or the more remote areas of our county, a travel fee is charged based on .50 cents per mile. My fee always includes, unlimited texts, calls and emails and completion of marriage license. I will gladly attend your rehearsal. The rehearsal fee begins at $40. My fees are affordable because I love what I do and prefer to stay busy. I have open dates on my calendar and would love to hear from you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins by getting in touch via email or phone. A face to face meeting is set up. Or, for destination couples we exchange emails. Options are discussed such as; religious, non-religious, ring exchange, sand ceremony, tying the knot, hand tying, butterfly release, unity candle or a special reading/song performed by a family member or friend. After all questions are asked and answered, I am ready to write your ceremony. Getting to know each couple; how they met, their favorite movie or song, provides inspiration to personalize their ceremony. One bride requested rather than telling the groom, "It's time to kiss your bride" she wanted me to say "Liz, it's time to kiss your husband." That was a memorable kiss for all in attendance.
