Laura’s undergraduate studies include work in exercise physiology and corporate health and wellness and currently holds a Masters Degree of Counseling graduating summa cum laude. - How did you get started doing this type of work?
Laura started her career as a certified personal fitness trainer and nutritionist where she owned Fitness For Life a fitness company contracted by 5 star resorts, fitness facilities, Dept of Defense and health and wellness centers in 3 countries and 4 states. During and after completing a Master of Counseling, Laura provided individual/family and pastoral care and crises counseling as well as executive and life coaching to organizations and leaders, media and sports professionals, producers, actors, entertainers, publishers, writers, aviation and hospitality professionals, elected officials, mental health/health professionals. For several universities, Laura was the facility supervisor for intern students completing their master of counseling degrees. After completing mediation training she provided dispute resolution to families in crises and corporate mediation along with business consulting services to numerous small, mid size and large companies including functioning as the interim CEO of a manufacturing company and was the business development growth consultant for medical companies where she developed national marketing campaigns while recruited, trained and launched national sales, marketing and provider teams. Laura has volunteered her services and been the guest speaker for local, national and international non profit groups, churches, women’s ministries, para-church ministries, crisis counseling orgs, employee assistance programs, home cell groups, homeschool associations, skilled nursing facilities, orphanages, homeless shelters and abuse recovery initiatives. Laura is currently owner of LM Solutions Org recruiting and business consulting firm also offering executive, career and life coaching and personal training services and is an active Florida Realtor.
