My 16 year old son who is in 11th grade really got alot out of the SAT tutoring session. He is now more confident and knows the type of questions and their solutions better.
I took my 8th grade son for geometry tutoring we met along with the tutor Costan, my son felt comfortable from the very start. Our first session was for one hour and we have had two hour sessions since that time my son has gone from failing his test to making 95%. He still has to make up a couple of test and we will see how well he has mastered the material; so far this has been a worthwhile investment. Costan is an honor student who knows how to break down problems for better understanding.
My daughter seems to like her and her tutoring style. Seems like a good fit.
We needed to find an SAT tutor for my daughter right away. I like the fact that Arbor allows you to switch tutors if you want to. Due to scheduling problem on our part, we ended up needing to switch to a different tutor. I simply sent an email and we immediately were given another tutor that fit into my daughter's new schedule.
Susan provide Hannah with the ability to identify her needs prior to taking the act. The practice in her areas of weakness with susan's guidance moved her score from 19 (the first test with no tutoring) to a 28.I can't be more thankful and excited to experience the open doors Hannah will have now with this achievement in her test scores.

This is one way he reinforces what he is teaching. He is also full on fun magic tricks along the way, which will certainly keep things as he likes them entertaining.
Natalie is knowledge on not just SAT material, but test taking strategies and how to effectively practice as well. She was very punctual, and took diligent notes. Natalie also understands modern-day college standards and mechanics. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a college advisor/SAT tutor. I am looking forward to my next session with Natalie
Melinda prepared my son for the SAT & ACT last year and his scores improved greatly. Now, he's a senior and she's helping him write college application essays. Any student would be lucky to have Melinda as a tutor!!!
I had not taken a French class in nearly ten years, however, in order to further my degree French II was required. I knew I needed a French tutor right away and utilized Thumbtack's service to obtain information on tutors located in my area. Several tutors contacted me, but David's background and previous stellar reviews caught my eye. We discussed briefly what would be expected from him with regards to the course material as well as my lack of knowledge on the fundamentals. My French was rusty to say the least and I would need intense tutoring sessions to refresh my memory on a subject that I hadn't taken since my first year of college many years prior. David was great! He was professional and knowledgeable. We started at the basics and he walked me through each rule applicable to the French language. His explanation on basic concepts was extremely helpful, as he explained them in a way that helped me better understand sentence structure, gender agreements, passé composé, infinitives, regular/irregular verbs, time, numbers, basic vocabulary words, etc. He exhibited a great deal of patience with my lack of understanding and made sure I understood the material before moving on to the next lesson. David worked around my busy school and full-time work schedule and even traveled quite a bit of distance to meet me. My current grade in the class is a 95. There is no doubt in my mind, that had I not employed David's services, I may not have been able to pass the class. Not only did I pass, but I received an A! Nothing short of a miracle! I would recommend his services to anyone in need of French help, whether it be early french students or those that are pursing a more difficult French curriculum. I am truly grateful for David and his wealth of knowledge. His teaching style and applied techniques truly made a difference for me.
David was very professional tutoring my middle school son in math. Definitely will and already have recommended David to others. Also plan on using his services again when the need arises.
This company has great tutors!
She is very helpful with figuring out what your weaknesses are. She takes the time to get to know you. I like how she is able to figure out ways to help me increase my scores. She has been tutoring me to improve my ACT scores and not only have I improved with my scores but also on English tests at school. Before Madeline I struggled with English but lately I have been doing very well on my tests and I thank her for helping me. She also taught me which reading sections I need to start with because I understand the readings better. I am very thankful to have her as my tutor. I hope other kids get the great opportunity to have her as their tutor as well.
I am so proud of my children for doing so well and so thankful to Mrs Stephanie for all the work and time she has dedicated to them both. It has been a pleasure knowing her and having her tutor them. They are happy to meet with her every time .Words can’t say Thank you enough for your dedication knowledge time and caring to Annabella and Roberto . Thank You for all that you do .
My niece was struggling with math, and Pedro was able to help her improve greatly through tutoring. He first assessed her to determine where her knowledge and skills were and then began working through a lot of practice problems. Pedro helped break up the information to help her understand, and she was able to catch up after falling behind in class. Her math scores were much better, and her confidence in her ability improved. With Pedro's help, she improved her math skills and her critical thinking skills. He was flexible with his schedule and communicated her progress after each tutoring session. We were definitely satisfied!
Mr. Corak is a gifted and conscientious tutor. His ability to take complex or difficult ideas and teach them in an easy-to-grasp way combined with his dedication to ensuring the student understands each step before moving on to the next concept is exemplary.
I am a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and was valedictorian of my high school class. I know school. I also have the patience to teach those who are struggling with school work and are willing to improve. Every student has the ability to succeed. It is just a matter of desire and motivation. Unfortunately, we all are not motivated the same way, but I believe individual attention and the absence of distraction are key to helping those who may not be achieving their full potential. This is my first foray into this type of profession, but I can tell you that when I was in school. I was already doing this for my fellow students who may have not understood what they had been taught as well as me. I look forward to talking with you, and I certainly encourage parent/guardian participation in their child's education.
