I hired this company to finish an unfinished basement. Overall they do really good work and I would recommend them. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because of the in wall wiring. Instead of suggesting a placement for my speakers he let me decide and I decided on a terrible position. Instead of suggesting a more appropriate placement he agreed and now I need to move the speakers.

Explain the details of a proposal so a customer does not get shocked when new bill comes for supposedly "extra" work. The proposal by an insurance adjuster was given to Neux and in there agreement was stated that they followed that proposal and then when discrepancies were added as cost, no explanation given and also had to point out that a specific cost that was included was not done: then that was removed. Very basic proposal that was not in any detail, the main thing they were concerned with was the checks due. Did not even do some of the items in adjusters proposal yet their proposal was higher than the adjusters.

This is our first negative response and I'm sorry that you did not fully understand the extra work and were shocked. We truly do try to do our best with constant communication. The only extra work charged was for the additional work that you requested - and signed off upon - as well the emergency calls (which began at 6 am) asking us if there was any way we could put off our other work to come out in the rain and cover the entire roof to avoid further damage - which we did for you and were completed by 11:30 am. At you request we then put your job ahead of the others and completed it within a week of the structural repairs. You also mentioned we didn't do some items but failed to say you were credited for those items and that we did many items not included such as moving all the furniture back into your upstairs bedroom and setting it up (trying to be kind since you had recently injured your ankle and in a cast boot and we knew it would be next to impossible for you and your wife to do) as well as fixing the bedroom mirror, replacing your broken globe in the closet, doing the entire ceilings rather than just the insured portion, and the additional siding replacement and painting that wasn't visible due to the previous areas covered by tarps by others.
We do thank you for the feedback and will make better attempts to make sure our services are explained fully to avoid similar misunderstandings.
