- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
“My pricing is based on several factors, including the size of the space, the technique or finish selected, the condition of the walls, the amount of preparation required, and the materials needed. Every project is unique, so I provide pricing based on the specific details of each project rather than using a one-price-fits-all approach. My goal is to be transparent about costs upfront and make sure clients understand exactly what is included in their project.”
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
“My typical process starts with getting to know the client’s vision, style, and goals for their space. From there, I discuss the desired technique, colors, wall condition, measurements, and overall project details. I also provide and create samples, so the client can get a better idea of the finished look. Once the design and pricing are approved, we schedule the project and begin with proper preparation of the walls and surrounding work area. Throughout the process, I focus on communication, attention to detail, and keeping the client informed. My goal is to make the experience as smooth as possible while creating a custom finish that truly transforms their space.”
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
“My education and training have come through hands-on experience, and Training at the DPA Academy, Continued learning, and developing my skills in decorative wall finishes and specialty techniques. Over the years, I have studied different products, application methods, surface preparation, color combinations, textures, and finishing techniques to strengthen my craft. I also continue to educate myself on new products, tools, and design trends so I can offer my clients quality, customized finishes. For me, this is a craft that requires patience, creativity, attention to detail, and continuous education.
