I have been working out with Travis for over one year. I was very overweight and out of shape! I felt like a slug! Travis is a wonderful personal trainer and motivator! He's positive, encouraging and provides the right amount of push to motivate you to accomplish your goals! He's always on time and very responsive in his correspondence. I've had six knee surgeries and Travis was great at providing alternative exercises that protected my knee but still help me achieve my goals! One of the great things about Travis is that he takes time to know each one of his clients. He knows their strengths and their weaknesses, and because he does, he knows when to push them and when to back off a bit. He is thoroughly knowledgeable about weight loss, conditioning, nutrition, weight lifting, functional training and how to treat those nagging injuries that some of us get when we think we're 20 years old again and push ourselves to hard! And, unlike many other trainers in other gyms, he genuinely cares! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes, I have standard pricing for two locations that I work out of that range from $30-$65 for 30, 45 & 60 minute sessions. Also my in-home pricing ranges from $60-$75 for 45 & 60 minute sessions
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I would first schedule a free fitness consultation with them in person or on the phone. We would discuss their goals, exercise history, previous or current injuries and plan for action on how I can help them accomplish their goals!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Travis Brown, MS, CSCS*D, FAFS, LWMC, CAFS, USAW I have both MS & BS in the field (Exercise Science). I've been certified with the National Strength & Conditioning Association for 17 years. I also hold 5 other certifications with reputable fitness organizations such as: -Certified TRX Instructor -Lifestyle & Weight Mangement Coach with ACE (American Council on Exercise) - Certified in Applied Functional Science with Gray Institute - Certified Sports Performance Coach with USAW - Fellow of Applied Functional Science with Gray Institute
