Doc was great. I came in with a list of goals and we worked diligently to achieve them. The fitness complex is excellent, clean and updated. I had 2 months and we set a 4x a week schedule. Doc was responsive to texts if I was going to miss an appointment or arrive late due to traffic. He is very knowledgeable about diet and form. I was surprised to get gains with very little soreness. I was so impressed I had my mother (79) take lessons with he and his wife Daria. She uses a walker and wheelchair and I'm excited and hopeful about her progress. You can beat the value and the experience.

Working with Mic as a career / business coach has been extremely helpful: first in helping me to define the problems & challenges on which I need to work in order to reach my objectives for 2017. Second in being available to help me with follow-through on those 2017 objectives. I recommend Mic's as a coach for anyone needing core, honest, actionable coaching on career, leadership, and business endeavors.

Ms. Arrington has been my son's voice teacher for years and was instrumental in helping him to successfully be selected to attend the DeKalb School of the Arts! She is a great instructor and I decided to take voice lessons from her as well. My ability to sing has greatly improved.

Throughout my tenure at The Home Depot, I had the pleasure of working with Ms Veronica Mobley on a couple of projects that she managed. My experience working with Ms Veronica was very positive and inspiring. Being an innovator, activator, and coach, reminds me of the leadership styles that Ms Veronica has when it comes to thinking outside of the box to solve problems, overcoming obstacles to achieve challenging goals, and helping individuals to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Her presence provides an environment where individuals feel empowered to be creative and have the confidence to perform their tasks and achieve their career goals. The three positions that she held at The Home Depot within a short time frame, shows a high level of professionalism and the value that she added to the company. As a customer, Ms Veronica is very knowledgeable and provide a high quality and grade of customer service. The services that I would recommend for Veronica are: •Business Startup •Mentoring and counseling •Event planning (eg.. having some type of Boutique event for a business owner) •Management of budget •Marketing

I was reluctant about selecting a life coach. I thought what could he or she offer that I couldn't do for myself. Well Cassandra Parks answered that question. She guided me to the answers and I boom! Welcome to clarity! It is a sincere pleasure to have met this brillant beauty. She has challenged me to dig deep through reflection and targeted Q and A sessions. I have only been utilizing her services for a short time and am super excited for what this next 6 month period will bring. She pushes, and is thought leadership driven. Most importantly she is human and real! Thank you Cassandra you are a God send.

We couldn't have asked for or hoped for better results! My husband and I were elated to have found Terrence and Tavari. Working with them has been an absolute pleasure :-) Their communication skills were exemplary and the way they trained us to work with one another was nothing shy of amazing! We are both so grateful for their assisting us in finding new pathways to understand one another as well as ourselves. We look forward to continuing our counseling/life coaching lessons with them for years to come. They were a comfort & guiding hand where we genuinely needed it. They forever have our utmost respect.

She gave me clear council regarding a vision of mine to not make arbitrary decisions that would affect the outcome of the vision without going to God first and waiting for His clear guidance for what to do next before taking any action at all. What GREAT leadership!! Also pertinent scriptures and book recommendations were very helpful and timely.

It was a wonderful bonding experience for all of the girls and we couldn't have asked for a better instructor than Chyla. Highly, HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an instructor!!

I had the opportunity to work with TD Trends through my current employer for about 12 months. Initially, I had concerns that adding any "new" processes would increase my work load and create more work. I'm glad to say that I was "completely wrong." My work load became more stream lined, less cumbersome and manageable after I incorporated the best practices and leadership based processes shared with me by TD Trends. Changed my approach to EVERYTHING! Forever grateful for the help and focus gained.

While I was studying for my Doctorate degree, Virginia helped me on some of the challenges I was navigating while working on my research classes. Virginia demonstrated strong leadership skills during my dealings with her. She is a very caring and dedicated individual who wishes to make a difference in her undertakings. Her passion is related to teaching and helping others about contemporary issues and helping them help themselves through knowledge and positive behavior enactment. I highly recommend Ms. Holland. Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

          What is a career coach?

If you’re interested in furthering your career and want expert help, a career coach is a smart solution. A career coach is a professional you hire to guide you during a job search or a career transition, or to help you improve and advance in your current position. A career coach analyzes your work situation and learns what your professional goals are. They then create a strategy to help you achieve your targets. Throughout the process they should provide objective feedback and guide you in approaching the process strategically. Here are some of the tools and tasks a career coach may assist you with:

          • Helping you build a strong resume that reflects your work history, potential, and skills
          • Coaching for interviews and strategies for solid answers built around your resume and the target job
          • Defining your career goals
          • Creating a plan for job searching
          • Improving networking strategies and skills
          • Developing strategies for negotiating raises or promotions
          • Assessing why you’re not getting where you want to go
          • Identifying new positions or career opportunities that fit your skills

          Why is career counseling important?

Career counseling can help you discover your career path, help you overcome challenges preventing you from finding happiness in your job, or help you learn more about career opportunities that are available to you. Career counselors are typically counselors who specialize in helping guide people into their best career choices. As professionals, they have typically completed a master’s degree in counseling with a focus on career counseling and bring a nuanced understanding of the emotional blocks that prevent someone from doing what they love or getting ahead in their current position. Here are some of the ways that career counseling can help:

          • Identify your skills and talents and how they correlate to different career paths
          • Educate you about the educational requirements for launching in various careers and what earnings can look like
          • Help you understand the kind of environment you want to work in, and which careers are best suited for that
          • See opportunities to transfer your existing skill set to other career areas
          • Help you identify causes of tension or unhappiness in your current career and how to overcome those difficulties
          • Help you create a game plan for moving forward
          • Provide a safe space for you to understand your feelings about career choices you’re making

          What is a career counselor?

If you’re feeling lost in your career path, overwhelmed, in need of a job but confused as where to start, or ready for change but uncertain what you want, a career counselor is a good choice for you. A career counselor is typically a licensed professional who has earned a master’s degree in counseling — likely with an emphasis on career counseling. Each state has different licensing requirements for career counselors, so be sure to research before reaching out to a pro.

Due to their academic backgrounds, career counselors often have a more holistic and in-depth approach than a career coach. Career coaches are not regulated by states and also tend to be more business-focused — a good fit for those who know what they want but need help achieving it. On the other hand, a career counselor provides guidance and clarity around some of the more emotional aspects that job hunting and career movement entail. Career counselors meet with you in a series of one-on-one sessions. They assess your personality and learn what drives you. They get a detailed understanding of your work history and your hopes, and often work to help you discover any internal blocks preventing you from going where you want to go. Hiring a career counselor is appropriate at any time in your career, from recent graduate to executive-level management.

How much does it cost to hire a career coach?

When it’s time to take your career to the next level, it’s time to hire a career coach. The cost to have a career coach help you with your professional journey will vary based on how many sessions you require, the level of coaching you desire, and the rates of the coach as determined by their experience, expertise, education and training. On average, career coaching sessions can range from 60 to 120 minutes, depending on the professional and what your needs are. Career coaches in smaller towns and areas with a lower cost of living will also typically have lower rates than those residing in large metro areas like New York, although most do offer remote coaching. Many coaches also offer a free introductory consultation, which gives you the opportunity to determine if their personality and coaching style are the right fit. It’s helpful to ask the coach about their relevant experience and get references from former clients. Depending on the professional, session rates could range anywhere from under $60 to well over $250 per session. Package discounts are a good way to commit to the relationship as well as get savings on services.

How much does it cost to hire a career coach?

A career coach provides one-on-one sessions to help you reach your career goals or overcome any challenges you’re having in your career path. The cost to have career coaching can vary based on factors such as the number of sessions you purchase at one time and the experience and rates of your counselor. Career counselors are typically professionals who have earned at least a master’s degree in their field. Based on their academic background, supplemental certifications they have received, and any postdoctoral work they have done, their rates may vary. Typically career counselors offer reduced rates when you sign on for their services on an ongoing basis. A typical price range for career counseling services (nationally) could be $75-$150 per session. Remember to always ask if the career counselor offers a complimentary introductory session. You want to make sure the relationship will be the right personality and counseling style fit to help launch your confidence and upcoming career changes.
