FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I invoice students the third week of the month and they pay on the last lesson of the month. If they have had an excused absence that month they do not pay for that lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is to meet together in my studio to discover what goals and expectations the parents have for the student or what the adult student would like to accomplish. If the child or adult had played before, I get an opportunity to hear them play. If not we begin by learning how the piano is made and how the hammers strike the strings to make sound, etc. Then we make music together!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended a university School with a School of Music which had a Major in Piano Performance which I subsequently earned my BA in Arts. I also studied with some fine artist at a great Conservatory during my Masters Program. This training allowed me to perform for many years and to now teach young children and young adults how to enjoy the art.
