Introduction: My love for music makes me passionate about my students enjoying the process of learning. In addition, I am very thorough with providing a solid foundation of music theory and ear training. I have had wonderful instructors, training and experience to really give a student the a well rounded music education through piano lessons. Undergraduate studies and scholarship recipient at Florida State University, Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance at Columbus State University, and Steinway Scholarship recipient. Sharing my love for music with others and exposing them to important skills and techniques.

Heather has been amazing for our family and teenager. My daughter took piano for years as a kid, but as she grew into pre-teen and early teenage hood, her interest in so many things declined. I was so excited to see Heathers ad though, and dragged my teenager to her first lesson. She was hooked after that. Heather catered to her specific interests while also strengthening her technique. She was spot on in reading how to keep her engaged, and ever since then the only thing I have to tell my daughter about piano is to please STOP practicing so we can go to bed, bc she is so drawn to it. I never have to remind her, and she has never complained a single time about Heather, is only eager to go to lessons which is seriously a miracle!!! Heather also came to my daughters school performance and saved her when the pianist who was supposed to accompany her wasn't able to. Heather played the song on the spot and saved my daughters near panic attack at the last minute. She is clearly passionate about teaching, tailors her lessons to each child's unique needs and tastes, and has been wonderfully easy and flexible to work with.

Heather taught piano to two of our children. While she was very kind and encouraging, she also had high expectations of them. I appreciated that she varied her approach based on their interests and abilities. It was a great experience for both of them. I highly recommend Heather.
