He was very conscientious to ensure the new toilet would fit prior to starting the project, and educated us on the pros of changing the valve. Georgi was efficient, knowledgeable and a delight to work with. After the installation, he did a pressure check on our system, and fixed a faucet that had lacked pressure and was driving me crazy for years! Owner David and operations manager Rob are knowledgeable on the products and the process. During the initial consultation that we scheduled at the property, they went into detail on all the different brands that they carry and the options that I would have. I liked that they were specific in recommendations for my property, which is so much better than working through a big-box associate who will never see the job site. They took time to answer questions and were very good about following up with me afterwards on specific information that I needed before making a decision. It was a long process, and David checked in with me regularly and answered my questions thoroughly. There were no 'must act now' gimmicks. They made sure I was informed at every step, and happy with the selections that I made. I had expected this process to be a chore, but enjoyed the experience I had with Wallaby."See more

Francis does not need to have access to anyone's home. His skills are not good and he is extremely slow. Thumbtack should not allow this "handyman" to try and build his clientele on their platform. He was an hour late; it took him 6 hours (1 pm-7 pm) to install the soft-close shower doors, which don't function as intended; he charged me an additional $100 for his ineptitude ($300 cash total because he didn't return my $25 in change). I had to ask him to open my bathroom door because I had no idea what he was doing inside with it closed and there was no reason for him to have it closed. He complained about having to install a shower door in a bathroom he didn't remodel. He could have easily declined the job. Instead, he left silicone-stained fingerprints all over the glass doors. He glued the water-proof flanges to the glass. It's so caked in it looks terrible; he jumped up and down inside my tub trying to prove to me it was installed incorrectly and he deliberately scratched up my wallpaper that was installed the day prior by another vendor on Thumbtack. Giving him 1-star is being generous.

Francis was very responsive and available on short notice. He showed up on time. While I initially contacted him to install a frameless glass shower door he refused to install it after assessing the situation on site given that my stall height wasn’t high enough. I ended up getting some other small repairs done: fixing a leaky sink drain, replacing a rotting bathroom fan vent cover on an exterior wall, routing and tying up flexible vent piping for a new bathroom exhaust in an attic space. I would have given him electrical work in the new bathroom as well but he doesn’t do panel work. While he was here he also gave me a good quote for patching drywall in my garage which was cut up to run plumbing for the new bathroom. He was friendly and knew his trade. I would recommend him to others.
