Introduction: The feedback I usually get from the wedding guests is how personal the ceremony felt. And even though we may just be getting to know each other, I love to share the magical moments from the couple's journey and give couples the spiritual encouragement they need to have a successful marriage. I love the opportunity to do my part to make a wedding special and memorable. I love the process of hearing the couple's story and how they came together...and sharing that with the people they love most. I love having a "front-row seat" and seeing the look in the eyes of the bride and groom.

My husband and I got married in March 2012, and having Angel as our officiant was one of our wedding's most special touches. Many friends and relatives commented on how warm and personal the ceremony felt (my father was particularly impressed...and you know you're on target when the father of the bride approves). The support of Angel and his wife, Christina, extended far beyond the day of our wedding to the many refreshing talks we had during our engagement, which helped us build a solid, Christ-centered foundation as we prepared not just for the ceremony itself, but for a life together as well. Absolutely amazing experience. Nobody will ever be totally prepared for marriage, but The Maldonados come pretty darn close in helping you get there! They are very open and honest with both parties during the pre-marital counseling sessions, they even offer 1 on 1 sessions which were extremely helpful to us. Angel officiated our wedding in the Dominican Republic and did an amazing job! Our families thought he truly captured the essence of our ceremony and even paid attention to the details that we said we wanted him to touch on to make our moment even more special. Thank you Angel and Christina! The world is truly a better place because you're in it and thanks for making sure that people know that it's cool to love and be on fire for God! Angel was the officiant for my wife's and my wedding in 2012. Prior to the ceremony, Angel spent well over 20 hours counseling us in preparation not only for the big day, but also for the years that will follow. Because of the sound advice and servant leadership that he gave us (and continues to give us 3 years later), my wife and I are still happily married! I highly recommend Angel as a premarital counselor and wedding officiant. You will get honesty and a Christ-centered direction on how to live as one. He is very personable. Most of all, he lives what he preaches. Any couple considering marriage will benefit from his influence.

So we have known Angel for several years now, and had the benefit of him helping us not only in our spiritual lives but in our relationship from dating right up through to our marriage. We were married in August 2012 and were grateful to be able to have pre marital counselling sessions via long distance over the phone and Skype (as we were located in different countries at the time), which helped us in laying a good foundation for marriage. I just love helping people. I never thought I would be a Pastor but God has worked in my life and has used mentors to train me to be my best for Him.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just married two of my best friends. It was so much fun. Especially since I knew many of their family and friends. It was like a big family reunion.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get a feel for an officiant's personality. That will be a huge part of the "feel" of your ceremony.
