Our children currently take private lessons from Coach Mike. They enjoy the lessons; we appreciate Mike's professionalism, teaching skills and genuine interest in developing their love for the sport. In just a short time, their skills have improved immensely and they look forward to lessons with him. Not only have they improved in technical skills, but also in strategy and mental toughness. Coach Mike makes it fun to learn a sport that they can play well into their adult years!

Robert Parker is transforming my tennis game! He is a high-performance coach who can maximize improvement for players of all skill levels. I have played tennis more or less the same way off and on for over 60 years (no, that is not a typo) and I wanted to improve. With his coaching, we have changed my grip, my stance, my swing, and my racquet head speed, and my game is, in fact, improving significantly. He gives me specific coaching that I can put into practice. He does a great analysis of each component of my shots so that I can work on one improvement at a time, and then build up to a better shot. He is positive and encouraging and patient. I give him the highest recommendation possible.

After many years of being on a start-stop cycle with tennis lessons, learning from John has encouraged (and enthused) me to be more consistent in the sport. John is an excellent coach who is very patient and insightful on ways to approach and ace technique (I smile thinking of all the tips he offered to help me perfect my serve.) His teaching style is fun, fresh and encouraging. And equally importantly, he is accommodating to your schedule and flexible in meeting locations. Hands down, John is the best tennis coach that I've ever had. He comes highly recommended! - Petra

About

I love to teach strategy and fundamentals and improve fitness towards the goal of becoming a better overall tennis player. Not only have I coached students aging anywhere from 10-18, I have also coached many adult players as well. I enjoy helping every person I coach reach their potentials. I believe that your tennis game is completely reliant on the effort you put in it. If you want to be great, you have to train like it, and if you want to play recreationally, that is fine! I know many tips and tricks, strategically and fundamentally, that will get you on your way to winning your weekend matches! I love to help all levels and enjoy seeing the varying levels of commitment to the game. No matter what your goals are, we are all playing the same game with the same set of challenges. Let me help you realize your true potential and show you the path to playing great tennis!

About

Does your child want to learn how to play tennis? Does he or she already play, and you would like him or her to take it to the next level? Would you like to improve your own game? I began playing USTA tournaments at age seven and participated in all possible national junior tournaments at all age levels. I was in the top 200s in the nation last year. Our high school team just won our third straight State Championship at 6A (the highest level). I just committed and signed to play tennis at the University of California, San Diego. Ever since I was seven, I had many great coaches and training, but I really enjoyed hitting with a high school player who went on to play college tennis. I now want to offer the same opportunities to young players! I can teach a beginner to plant a seed of love for tennis, or I can give a grueling hitting practice for more advanced players. I love children/teens and my motto is to have fun while playing tennis! Try me out to see if your child likes me. The first session is free!
