I'm so glad that I read the reviews and did my homework when choosing a trainer... I have had trainers in the past.. but Doc is as advertised...he is not like the trainers I received quotes from that train you out of there cars or other people's gyms..he has a huge gym that he owns with world class equipment.. very clean and is a personal training gym only and not open to the public for gym membership.. I like the personal touch..our 1st workout he kept correcting me on my form that my other trainers was showing me wrong.. I see why I stayed injured.. I finally felt the body part I was working and not my back...he worked with my budget and I say to anyone out there that is looking for a trainer.. read the reviews.... visit all whom is quoting as I feel I have wasted 5 years of training with other trainers..I look forward to this lifestyle change and will tell all my family and friends about Doc ..:-)
Initially, I was very nervous and thought I was going to be Courtney's worst client due to years of a sedentary lifestyle but Courtney was very patient, postive and encourgaing and gave me that extra push at the perfect moment. After each session I felt more confident in my abilities. I was able to sleep better and I could feel the changes in my mood and energy during the day. During my training I also learned how to eat better and work out on my own even in the comfort of my home and Courtney provided strategies for me to successfully maintain a healthy routine in the midst of my very busy schedule. I have never been overweight but my goal was to tone up in certain areas and even after 1 month of training I received compliments from coworkers and friends saying that they could already see a difference in my body. In the end, the one thing I loved most about my experience is that Courtney took the time out to really educate me about proper body mechanics, why I should and shouldn't eat certain things and what the various exercises were meant to do. I took a lot away from my experience with Courtney and I will most definitely keep coming back!

Midcity Fitness is great! -The gym is right off of 75/85 with convenient visitor parking -David has all the tools and gear to keep the exercises new, interesting, and effective -He closely monitors your form while providing encouragement -Flexible with scheduling, he never makes me feel like he's in a rush to get me out of there. He doesn't watch the clock like some trainers and sometimes the sessions even run later when he wants to make sure you're making progress or understanding a move -Increases the intensity and variety of each session -Emphasis on body alignment to prevent injuries -Helps your achieve your goals while working to repair painful injury prone areas -Extremely knowledgeable - he can tell from your posture, gait, and structure what areas to focus on -Pool training + yoga makes you feel fantastic! -Amazing price point, our initial consultation was complimentary at the time which helped me get a feel for his style ;) Though I've been moderately active (biking, walking, a little bit of running under 30 min), I had NEVER worked out. As I got older my weight crept up so I thought it was time to get some help from a professional. Right away he could tell I had posture and knee issues, something I realize now was responsible for my mild aches and pains. My whole life no one had ever noticed or told me this before David! With his guidance I'm now getting stronger with a correctly aligned form each time I go. I'm so lucky I met him because had he not been there to correct me I could have been working out the wrong way leading to serious injuries in the future. Schedule a session you won't regret it!
I have never been able to stick to a regular and frequent workout routine in my life until I joined Body Laboratory. I love food and often over eat. But after coming here for one month, I am seeing my body tone up and the six packs peeking out. Best part is that this personal training is reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone.
I have worked with Jeff and Train at Home Atlanta since August 2014. My initial intention was to train to improve my golf game. As a result over the last few months I have become a lot stronger and have seen noticeable changes to my body (waist size 32!). I am able to do workouts and exercises now that are similar to when I played organized sports such as football, wrestling and baseball. I am excited to see how much improvement there is in my golf game this spring! The video sessions have worked out great. We began with in person sessions and I have recently decided to transition over to FaceTime which saves money and makes scheduling easy. I am also able to keep on track and accountable to my training when traveling. Which helps my professional performance and keeps from having to build up momentum again after returning home. I think this would be a huge advantage for people who travel extensively.
I feel he listened to my concerns and goals; and together we were able to develop a plan that woold help me meet those goals. As my fitness has progressed Dee has helped me make adjustments to keep me on track. So far I have been successful and am making excellent progress toward my goals.
Alex Ceban has been invaluable to me as I have set some lofty physical fitness goals for 2017. His training is top notch, and I was able to do my first pistol squat due to his tutulage. As long as I reside in Atlanta, I will always be a client of Alex.

He is unique; he has a calm confidence that has really been integral to helping me move forward after over 5 years of no exercise. I was scared I was going to be judged and scared that it would take forever to feel better. Within the first 3 weeks, I felt stronger-- which was a huge step for me. Now, 6 weeks later, I AM stronger and I am so happy that I found John on Thumbtack. John has been such a positive influence and I never felt judged! I have a long way to go, but I am willing to put the time in and I want to continue to work with John to get what I want for myself. My goal is to continue to lose weight and make better food choices. Raj was helping me and my husband in personnel training for last 2 months.. We really donot want to follow a strict diet but wanted to feel and look healthier.. He was so positive and explained us thorughly all the excersizes.. He listened to us carefully and addressed all the issues. At first I was worried about signing up with Al and paying in full upfront, since I had never worked with him. I decided to trust my gut and his reviews. I now realize I had nothing to worry about. This guy is one of the most dedicated professionals I have ever worked with, period. He is unbelievably punctual!!! He apparently is passionate about what he does and pushes you. I would NOT be training still, if it were not for the training options Al offers. I have recommended him and continue to recommend him. I’ve been training with Da'Mon for almost 3 years now, and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. I started training twice a week, as part of a group session, really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the sessions & then took on a personal one-on-one session as well! I must be a glutton for punishment. Da'Mon is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more pushups, pullups, sit ups / core exercises, and ability to lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I am proud to say I have a 2.5x BW Squat and working toward a 3xBW Squat and when I started I couldn't even squat my bodyweight!! I find I actually look forward to my workouts. Importantly: – He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. – He is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned. I thoroughly enjoy working out in the outdoor environment, and would recommend Da'Mon & his team to anyone looking to improve their fitness.
