- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At the store where I work in Marietta, near the intersection of Dallas Hwy and Barrett Pkwy, I charge $105 for 4, half hour lessons per month. In addition, depending on where you live, I can travel to your home/studio, and the cost is between $35 - $45 for an hour lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, prospective students will decide if they would like to come to the store where I teach in Marietta, or have me come to them. In their first lesson, I want to learn about what their interests and goals are with playing drums. I believe in building success after success with each student, so they'll learn to play something on the drums in that very first lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years experience as a professional drummer playing in a variety of musical settings. I attended the University of North Texas as a percussion major. I studied drums in Ghana, West Africa for which I received a scholarship. I also attended the Berklee College of Music summer program after high school and the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Camp twice.
