I have had an excellent experience using Above Grade Educational Services. Jocelyn has been very helpful and responsive in helping me to set up my tutoring and my tutor, Fio, has been excellent. Each session with her is helpful and works to build on my skills and she is responsive to any questions or requests I have for extra practice. Grateful I found this company!

I tried to study and practice on my own for the GRE, but after I got my terrible scores back I knew I needed tutoring. My tutor was always punctual (often earlier than I was!) and thoughtfully prepared for our sessions based on my needs. I did poorly in the GRE quant section, so we worked on improving my confidence and speed (a lot of focus on strategy) doing GRE math problems. After re-taking the test, I scored 9 points higher! Obviously, I had to work hard to get these results, but a huge chunk of my success is because of my tutor.

We found Robert in the middle of the school year in 2014. Our 8 year old son was having a very challenging time with math, and his father and I were not able to assist him without us all ending up beyond frustrated. Robert is soft spoken, kind, patient, encouraging an effective! Our sons grades have improved, and he comes home from school telling us that math is easier for him than it used to be! We would highly recommend Robert to any parent considering a math tutor for their student.

My daughter always seemed to have panic attacks leading up to tests. I was desperate to find a way for her to be comfortable especially as SATs were coming up. All I can say is after a few weeks with the tutors and life coaches at Chelsea International Education, my daughter’s confidence level went up a lot. She was not only prepared to take her SATs but her core academic skills have improved tremendously, which has helped her with her AP exams. The fact that all of the Chelsea tutors are fully qualified teachers, I think makes a major difference and really sets them apart. It really is a quality service and I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.

Kellae is a lovely lady that nurtures and possess an extraordinary level of patience; she is extremely knowledgeable and very warmhearted; my daughter waits impatiently for her arrival for each session. Our experience with Kellae has been remarkable. She has proven her gift of teaching through her energy and creativeness. She is helping my daughter improve her writing skills by teaching her how to correctly write a thesis, use transitional and descriptive words, and strengthen her research skills. Also, Kellae is very patient, energetic, and is full of suggestions and is willing to try many different approaches to help understand topics that are difficult. Kellae takes the time to send my daughter helpful resources to aid in my daughters studying beyond our sessions and is sincerely enthusiastic when she makes progress in her studying habits. Kellae is just whom my daughter needs to take her to the next level in her education. She is kind and attentive, and my daughter has been very receptive to her from the first time we met. I have known Cameron Herman, professionally and personally, for six years. We became colleagues and friends in 2010 while graduate students at the University of Louisville. Since that time, we have supported one another with writing projects pertinent to our respective research projects. When it comes to writing and editingx Cameron has a keen eye for detail. He is also skileld at helping writers draft their ideas clearly. I have found that his background in stats is helpful in that he finds ways to use big data to corroborate qualitative research. Also, Cameron does well in keeping up with various research and writing technologies and resources. Recently, Cameron and I co-authored an essay for the anthropological academic journal, City & Society. Our work assessed the impact of gentrification in Houston, Texas and the efforts of local artists to combat this process of spatial change in the Third Ward neighborhood.

Charles Justus Garard, Jr. PhD I have known Dr. Garard for approximately 28 years and worked with him as a colleague, teaching at the college level from 1989 until 2003. During my association with Dr. Garard, I have observed his expertise not only in teaching and mentoring but also in his writing skills. He was exceptional at proofreading several of my documents and manuscripts, as well as offering other colleagues writing and literary assistance. In addition to his regular college teaching duties, he taught English as a second language on weekends to students in several minority communities in Atlanta. He traveled to China as a professor in English language, literature, and writing, where he served for seven (7) years. Dr. Garard has demonstrated an outstanding talent with the English language and is an invaluable asset to both writers and editors. Please feel free to contact me if I can offer further insight into Dr. Garard’s gifted abilities. Donald W. Blair 404-375-1435

She became and Editor. She edited my book. This was the very first writing that I had ever done for publishing. Without her critique and her sitting with me and explaining the importance of my being myself and making sure that I wrote from the point of what I declared my book would be. She shared with me how important of writing down that people would know you from your writing. She met with me in my office. Never was Mrs. Mansfield in a hurry How Long Did It Take: It took 2 weeks and 3 days. What impressed me most of all was Mrs. Mansfield’s’ ability to pull out of me that what would had been necessary to enhance my book. Secondly a willing to listen to me read my book. My book and me as a new writer was very important to her. It was not just a job but care and concern. Some of the time spent in my office, especially the length of time just speaking to me about becoming a writer. Many times was over and beyond what I believe many other persons would have done. Her critiques and the work that she performed was over and beyond helping a new writer. The question is what could have been better: Exactly mothing!! What went wrong? If anything? Nothing. What could Pauline Mansfield do better in the future? Continue to share her love and concern for the people in which she helps. Please note: My use of the name YaQar YaQar is because I have 1 name which is legally "YaQar"
