We hired Maxim, Francis and the team at CF One Maintenance to tear down and rebuild a deck and patio and we were extremely happy with the finished project. They were very responsive, professional, and did all-around great work. They were super respectful of our house and property and always left their work areas clean and tidy.They also suggested some design/lighting elements that we had no idea existed to help with the flow and functionality of the space. The whole project felt very collaborative and we could tell that they really cared about the quality and outcome as much as we did. They really do put the customer first!Our project included:* Removal of existing deck* Building, painting, and staining a new deck with an expanded footprint* Stairs (with landing) from the deck to the patio* Covered and screened-in porch with new roof section* New flagstone patio and retaining wall* Lighting and speaker installation* Converting an exterior door to a French door* Painting the exterior of the houseOne of the things you can't predict about hiring a contractor is how they handle issues that arise during the project. Because there are always surprises, we were able to witness first hand how they adapted to and resolved any issue that came up. In our particular project, they handled rerouting some unexpected pool pipes, navigated a very tough permitting/inspection environment in our county, and rolled with some last-minute scope changes. They listened to any concerns we had and always tackled any challenge head-on and without complaint. I knew they would see the project through and it would be of the highest quality.The final cost of the project was in line with their initial estimate and they made sure to clear any costs for scope changes with us before starting. There were no surprises when it was time to hand over the final payment.Overall, we're extremely happy with our new deck and patio. It's well-built, functional, comfortable, and looks great! I'd highly recommend CF One Maintenance for any project you're considering. We've already started a list of the next projects we're going to have them do at our house!
