Introduction: My name is Chris Rodriguez and I am 26 years old. Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, I played basketball year-around for 10 years, under some great minds, against some of the best competition. Some familiar names are Terry Rozier, Trey Burke, Bryn Forbes, Denzel Valentine, Ryan Arcidiacono, etc...
I was born with natural athleticism, but that wasn't what separated me as a player. At, 5'10, I had to really focus on my fundamentals and understanding the game at a deeper level. I spent hours refining my skills with some of the best trainers in Cincinnati. This is what earned me significant playing time on the 2011 Division 1 state basketball team, which some consider, the best team of all time. (Don't take my word for it, please research.) This also helped me guage interest from multiple division 2 schools in the state.
After college, I started passing along my knowledge to younger kids that I was coaching in 2016. I cannot describe my approach because it varies significantly from player to player as everyone is different. However, there is a science to the game, which I have a strong grasp on.
I can instantly tell why a shot was missed or a crossover was stolen from a mechanics standpoint. My goal is to help you or your child understand the science behind the game, making it significantly easier to play. I believe in hard work, but smart work trumps all. Your goal is to develop more quickly than your competition, putting you ahead of the curve. I promise I can help. I guarantee a noticeable increase of confidence in just a few sessions.
