FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Life is expensive. We all learned as much. I hope that you will see that contributing to your mental well-being is one of the most important investments you can make. Counseling, with me or any other therapist, is a sound investment - in your daily peace of mind, in your future life fulfillment and yes, even your financial security. There is no better return on investment than an investment in yourself. The positive impact of healthy life transformation will unlock possibilities and opportunities beyond your wildest dreams. I encourage you to view the price of counseling from the perspective of value, not cost. While I’m not the cheapest counselor out there, nor am I the most expensive, I am confident you will find I provide an excellent value for you and your future goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My approach is centered around finding solutions that fit you personally and deal directly with the current circumstances challenging you in your life. If you are struggling right now and open to something better, together we will uncover new and powerful possibilities. I often tell my clients that I'm looking to find what works for you. Whether you come knowing what you want or are looking for help to find that clarity, I will honor you as we work together. As you know, there is no cookie-cutter solution for our individual, complex lives.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor, and I hold a Master's Degree in Christian Education and an undergraduate double major in Psychology and Religious Studies. Additionally, I am a certified administrator of the reputable Prepare-Enrich assessment tool for premarital and marital counseling. I am a certified administrator of the Head Meets Heart relationship education curriculum, and lead seminars and retreats to help people with healthy approaches to finding a great life partner. I also have years of experience using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator( MBTI) personality profile tool, which I use in couples, business, and career counseling.
