FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are arranged by appointment on a pay as you go format. There are no contracts. Regular pricing is as follows: Single lesson: $75 Pre purchase of 5 lessons: $350 Pre purchase of 10 lessons: $680
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Private sessions last 50 minutes. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time so that you are able to change your shoes (if you have dance shoes), warm up/stretch and prepare for class. Particularly for competition students, practicing for 10-15 minutes (or more) before your lesson puts you in the right frame of mind, and you'll get the most benefit from your training session. We will spend your first session making an assessment of your current dance experience and skills, and from there, we will formulate a set of goals and a plan that best to meet those. For example, competition students will begin developing the routines that they will eventually compete, whereas social students might work on a few different patterns, perhaps something more advanced than what is covered in a group class, or improving lead-follow technique. Whether you are looking to learn more intricate dance patterns, improve technical skills, obtain competition or show dance choreography, train to be a pro-am, am-am, or professional competitor, private lessons are a great way to focus on those skills you are looking to perfect.
