Excellent duo, found specific cleaner for my floors that made them look amazing. Jasmine cleaned an oven that hadn’t been cleaned in a while ( new home; appliance was included but nasty) and made it look brand new. Brandon not only cleaned my home, he repaired my toilet. Very professional, good quality work, and reasonably priced. I will be working with them again in the near future. Thank you both 😊

Nidgi and two others arrived on time, and cleaned my townhouse expertly! I needed a deep cleaning as I am putting my house up for sale. They cleaned the refrigerator, stove top, cupboards, oven, windows, shelves, etc., etc. And were there until the job was done. I have already recommended them to a friend for recurring housecleaning.

My wife and I needed someone who could perform move-out cleaning services without much notice, which included the stove/oven, as well as the other areas of the loft. Seka was not only professional and did an awesome job, but she was equally nice with a very pleasant disposition. My only regret is we didn't find her sooner. If we were not moving out of state we would definitely be a standing clients.

Tracy did an amazing job cleaning our bathrooms. She cleaned the whole time she was at our home, dusting, vacuuming and sweeping. Tracy was easy going and tolerated band practice and a contractor who was at our home during the day. Thank You Tracy.

Had to call a repairman this last week to fix my oven as it would not heat up past a certain point. I would turn it on and it would just blow gas into the oven, but nothing was heating up and only started to stink after a while. Called these guys, Atlanta Appliance Repair and I liked the customer service. Spoke to a young lady over the phone, who sent a technician out to my house on the same day. Turns out it was an easy fix and didn’t even require any part replacement. Thank you.

Bobby from Appliance EMT was punctual to the appointment. He diagnosed the issue and made the repair efficiently and without any mess. He wore shoe covers, worked quickly, was friendly, and gave advice about the appliance (Stove/oven). Great work, accurate repair, efficient, and neat/clean. Perfect.

Called Rosy because of the comments on Thumbtack. So glad I did. She is very professional, on time, worked steady and carefully. She made recommendations for certain cleaning solutions which were great. My house looks clean, clean, clean and no nasty chemical smells. Rosy is a very pleasant person who I immediately felt comfortable having her in our home. 5 stars! Already scheduled her for a regular cleaning next month.

So glad i found this company. Hired a couple of cleaners in the past and no luck. Now that i found a reliable cleaning company, I feel complete and ready to get things done for the summer. I needed a standard cleaning and feels like i received a deep cleaning. I was complimented with Eco Friendly products and had the interior of my oven cleaned. So if anyone is looking for a cleaning company to trust, then i strongly recommend anyone to try them out. Best part is they are non contract and accept all major credit cards (American Express) rather then just cash. Keep up the Great work guys! You won my business!

Through a series of events, I found myself having to sell 2 properties in Atlanta. I live out of state but needed a company that I could trust, to go in and take care of the properties, knowing I wouldnt be able to follow up with their service. The first time I used Courtney's, it was a "clean out", to prepare the 3 bedroom home to go on the market. This included oven cleaning and windowsills!! She gave me a fair price and did a great job. When I was ready to sell the 1 bedroom home, I knew I would use her services again. I set up the appointment and this time, only needed a thorough cleaning. Once again, she went above and beyond. This is important because technically, she could have done a bad job and living out of state, I would have paid her anyway, and not known until it was too late. I had some work done after she cleaned the 1 bedroom and proceeded to use her services for a third time (a light cleaning). If I lived in Georgia, I would absolutely hire this company as my bi-weekly private house-cleaning service. Courtney is professional and assured me they would take care of these properties for me. She was true to her word each time. I highly recommend them, especially if you have to trust and rely on them from out of state.Thank you again for doing such a wonderful job every time!!Sincerely,Kelly Slaton

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much do you pay for house cleaning?

Hiring a professional house cleaning service is a helpful way to have a healthy home even when your work and personal schedule is packed. House cleaning prices vary based on how many square feet your home is, how dirty your house gets, and how often the cleaning service comes. Some companies charge a set amount — such as 5 cents — per square foot, with a minimum amount, such as $100. The national average cost for house cleaning ranges between $110 and $150. Prices can be lower in areas with a lower cost of living, higher in big cities or affluent regions. You may save money by increasing the frequency of your house cleaning visits. Often a company will charge you less per cleaning when you schedule more cleanings per month. The cost advantage rewards your loyalty, and also reflects the fact that more frequent cleanings make it easier to maintain a high level of cleanliness in your home. A housecleaning service may charge more for the first visit or for one-time services than for recurring cleanings.

How much does refrigerator repair cost?

Refrigerator repair generally costs a fraction of the price of a new fridge and shouldhave your appliance up and running again in no time. The problems your refrigerator is experiencing and the parts required to fix it will affect your repair costs. Where you live can affect labor rates, which will raise or lower your costs. Here are some examples of average costs:

  • Diagnostic fees: $50-$100. Repair pros often have a service call fee or diagnostic fee to account for their time traveling to your location with all their tools to assess the problem. If you choose to have them repair the fridge, most pros then credit this fee toward your repair cost.
  • Parts: $20-$500. A new compressor averages $200, an icemaker $300, and computerized components such as touch screens and control boards average $300 or more.
  • Basic repairs: $180-$400, including parts. This price range can include repairing the evaporator or fan motor.

How much does it cost to deep clean a house?

Deep cleaning a house goes beyond the surface level to clear out the dust, grime and gunk that’s collecting on the fan blades, hiding in the blinds, and built up inside the refrigerator drawers. Deep cleaning of a home or apartment costs more than regular house cleaning because it takes more time, effort, and cleaning products. You may choose to have a deep cleaning once or several times a year in addition to your standard cleaning services. You may have a one-time deep cleaning to prepare for company or to clean after a house party. Companies may charge an hourly rate or a price per square foot, or may offer you a flat rate after they have visited your home and estimated work time. The national average house cleaning price is $110-$150, with rates ranging higher for deep-cleaning services. Here are some examples of how a company may calculate their deep-cleaning prices:

  • 10 cents per square foot (compared with 5 cents per square foot for standard house cleaning).
  • $300 for a 3,000-square-foot home.
  • $25 per hour per worker for deep-cleaning services.

How long do fridges last?

Refrigerators can last 10 to 20 years, although the most common lifespan is about 13 years. If your fridge is acting up, consider its current age when deciding whether to invest in repairs or buy a new one. Common easy fixes include faulty thermostats, dirty coils and clogged drain lines. Thermostats and dirty coils can be generally be fixed for an average cost of $80-$100. Clogged drain lines, which usually cause leaks, can often be fixed for under $200.

More complex refrigeration repairs such as replacing a bad compressor or replenishing low refrigerant can cost more because of expensive parts and higher labor. A new compressor costs an average of $200, not including labor. If labor is an average of $75-$100 per hour, and the repair takes 3 hours, you’re looking at roughly $500. Consider the age and purchase cost of your fridge; investing $350 in a $600 fridge that is 8 years old may not be cost-effective.

How much does a move-out cleaning cost?

Moving is hard enough work even before you have to clean the empty home to perfection. Instead of scrubbing your tile grout with a toothbrush, hire a professional cleaning company to provide move-out cleaning services for you. For moving out of an apartment, cleaning prices can range from $110 to $150. When scheduling a move-out cleaning, talk with the pro and confirm all the key points they will clean to ensure you receive your deposit back.

Important areas to have cleaned include the fridge interior, the oven interior, bathroom tile, the shower and tub, all blinds, and sometimes the walls. Some cleaning companies do not quote a flat rate for a move-out cleaning, as the number of hours it may take to clean structurally identical apartments could vary greatly depending on how clean or dirty the inhabitants were. For example, move-out house cleaning prices may range from $150 to $180 for one- or two-bedroom apartments.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
