Michael Karl does an amazing job of teaching me acting lessons, stage presence and voice projection. He has such a way of expressing himself to help me get into character and to feel what the character is feeling. Michael is professional, punctual and proficient!! He listens to what your expectations are and what you hope to gain from the experience. I highly recommend Michael Karl!!!
Jerri was a fantastic acting coach! Very professional and caring. She puts a lot of heart into her craft and studied the Chubbuck technique, which she teaches here in Atlanta, under Ivanna Chubbuck herself!
My daughter has been taking acting classes from Mr. Starr for all of her middle school years into high school. I've seen her improve in strides not only with acting but confidence and prescence on stage. She is now able to fill the stage with her character. I would highly reccomend Mr. Starr.
I LOVE this studio. I had Deborah Bowman as my vocal coach.. Wow... Till this day I tell my parents that I wish I had her before my college auditions. She is an actual working actress and knows the tricks of the trade. Currently she's about to help me with my acting for another college audition. She's AMAZING! IF you or your child wants to pursue musical theater or getting ready for an audition.. DEB is the one to go to!!!!!! Love ya Deb! As well.. this studio is SO caring. They always want an update and create amazing relationships. They WANT to see you succeed!
I went to Tri Action for acting training and auditioning prep with very little acting experience. My acting coach Delores Burgess provided me with effective coaching and feedback. Training at Tri Action gave me the confidence to actively pursue acting as well as branch out and train other places as supplements to my training at Tri action. At Tri action, I learned how to build a character, different methods for executing a performance, helpful tidbits about the business , headshots and other technical skills that brought me up to speed amongst other actors in my classes outside of Tri action. I have been able to utilize these skills in my auditions.Needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed my training at Tri Action and learned a lot.
I took and acting classes with Shay Mack back in late 2014. Her classes were appropriate for all different levels of acting. I have studied acting for most of my life and have a B.A. in theatre and film acting. Still, she finds new ways of challenging and pushing me outside my comfort zone as an actor. She has a way of pinpointing your weaknesses and discomforts as a performer, and rather than play it safe and ignore them, she will bring them to light so you can challenge and overcome those weaknesses. Great Job!!
Keith is the greatest! He brings so much energy and enthusiasm to lessons, and his teaching is professional, patient and prepared. My son learned so much with Keith, and he looks forward to continuing lessons! We are delighted to recommend Keith! He's the best!
Julia was punctual and very professional. She was confident and it was a plus that although the call for for acting, she was able to sing and dance as well. Great personality! We would definitely recommend Julia for acting, modeling and performance work.
Kirill is an intelligent, personable, and dedicated acting teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience. His teaching range from classic Stanislavsky and Chekhov work, to rasa boxes. On more than one occasion I have asked Kirill to assist me in my acting classes, as well as cover for me when I've had a conflict. My students consistently RAVE about the work that they got to do with him. He's a no bull sh*t kind of guy and my students have always responded very well to that. I have also had the pleasure of receiving his direct coaching in preparation for Auditions and work was GREAT. Efficient, effective, and memorable.

Kids and teens have fun while learning to perform on stage and on camera! Understanding that teens and kids require a well-rounded acting program, yourACT has tailored its classes for kids and teens to demonstrate what it's truly like to work on-camera and on stage, plus give them a chance to experience the excitement of improvisation. All students learn the principles of acting in an energetic and supportive environment. Growing at their own speed, they explore the acting craft and art! The kids are distributed into groups by grades: 2nd through 4th, 5th and 6th, and 7th and 8th. Our two-hour Saturday lessons take the kids across three forty-minute sessions. They experience forty minutes of improvisation, then forty minutes of acting on camera on to the studio, and forty minutes to hone their stagecraft in our hundred-seat theatre. They learn to utilize focus, concentration, creativity and imagination to create strong and believable characters, whether on stage or in front of a camera. The teens (high school) discover how to become the character, being natural, truthful and honest. Whether on the stage or acting for TV and film, they gain discipline and focus. Improve provides them the power to unlock their emotions and explore their imagination. We select scripts that deal with the concerns and issues confronted by teens daily. The yourACT instructors are all skilled working actors who will help teens elude the usual mistakes and show them how to associate their dreams to reality. Every grade group is restricted to fourteen, so that all students get the individual attention which they deserve. We concentrate on building up their strengths, while noticing their individual needs.
