I have known Regine for a little bit over elven years. I first met Regine as a dancer at KAV Academie de Danse in Haïti. She is a friend of the owner; Karol Ann. Regine was the guest instructor at the bi-annual Dance camp. I was a lazy dancer and that went away as soon as I met Regine. She challenged all of us, made training interesting and taught us new techniques. She gave me the confidence to attend Dance Camp at the Alvin Ailey studio in New York. It was one of the proudest moments in my life. Regine challenged me as a human being, to learn how my body operates, respect its strengths and limitations, and taught me how to take care of it. Even after I went to college, she continued to encourage me to attend Dance camp in New York City. Regine is dedicated to her craft, and continues to perfect it every way she can.

In 2014 I attended MCFA's Summer Intennsive. This was the first time I had ever taken any classes from Ms.Regine. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had and it helped me grow as a dancer. I enjoyed how much I had gained from just a two week summer intensive that I decided to start taking classes with Ms.Regine. Ms.Regine is a great teacher because she loves what she does and doesn't hold back. It's a good thing that she does this because that means that she really cares about you and wants you to succeed as a dancer. Most teachers hold back on corrections because they feel like they shouldn't be hard on their students. I would rather be fixed now as a student rather than when I am older. I would recommend Ms.Regine as a teacher if you are looking into become a professional dancer and willing to work hard.

I have known Regine for a very long time. We were classmates at the Haitian American Academy of Ballet and Arts in Haiti. Throughout our journey as students I always looked up to her because she was the person we all wanted to dance like personality wise, technically wise and artistically wise. A few years ago Regine lead a seminar that I held in Montreal with my dance company. She definitely pushed us to create and learn new techniques. It was my first time learning from her and she does have great skills to teach what she is passionate about. Although we haven't seen each other in a while, I always look to see through Social Media what she is up to and sure enough her star is still shining.
